Instructor Premium. A premium of one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per hour will be paid to an employee performing classroom instruction and for preparation activities directly in support of this classroom activity. The Company will determine the time required for instruction and preparation activities.
Instructor Premium. An employee assigned by the COO or designee to routinely and consistently train other eBART employees shall be compensated with an additional one and one-half (1½) hours of pay at the employee’s existing base rate of pay for any instruction up to four (4) hours, or with an additional three (3) hours of pay for any instruction greater than four (4) hours. An employee is considered to be "routinely and consistently" instructing or training another employee whenever he/she is temporarily assigned to specifically instruct or train an employee on a specific job, because instruction and training are part of the normally required duties of this assignment.
Instructor Premium. Effective the first pay period after contract ratification/Council approval, the Police Chief or their designee shall designate staff to each instructor position annually. Employees designated to the instructor positions shall receive a 1% premium in recognition for the training hours and/or certifications required to maintain instructor eligibility. Regardless of the number of instructor assignments, the employee will only receive the flat 1% premium. The following is the list of established instructor assignment positions:
Instructor Premium. Employees designated to provide instruction shall be paid at the flat rate of one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per hour for all hours of actual instruction. This rate shall be paid in addition to any other monies they are receiving as an employee for those hours.

  • Training Premium Qualified Operators selected by the Employer to train new Operators shall be paid a training premium of 40¢ per hour while engaged in training work.

  • Shift Premium Effective July 1, 2020, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of ninety-five cents (95c/ ) per hour for each hour worked between 1500 hours and 0700 hours provided that such hours exceed two (2) hours if worked in conjunction with the day shift.

  • Night Shift Premium Any employee who is required to work on any day when the majority of their working hours fall between 10.00 p.m. and 5.00 a.m., or who starts their shift prior to 5.00 a.m., shall be paid a premium, in addition to their regular, hourly rate, of one dollar and twenty-five cents ($1.25) per hour for all hours worked on the shift. Shift premium pay shall not be added to an employee’s hourly rate for the purpose of computing overtime. This clause shall not result in duplication of premiums.

  • Bilingual Premium The appointing authority may require a qualified employee to perform bilingual duties in positions which have been identified and designated as requiring such bilingual skills. In order to ensure an adequate level of bilingual proficiency, the Director, Department of Human Resources may require periodic evaluation of incumbents receiving bilingual premium.

  • Night Premium For all time worked by employees, after 7 p.m. and before 7 a.m., by employees hired on or before August 5, 2005, a premium of twenty-five cents (25¢) per hour shall be paid.

  • Overtime Premium Pay Time and one-half (1 1/2) the employee's straight time rate of pay shall be paid for all hours actually worked in excess of forty (40) hours in any one workweek.

  • Short Changeover Premium (a) If shifts are scheduled so that there are not twenty-four (24) hours between the start of an employee's shift and the start of his/her next shift, a premium calculated at the overtime rates will be paid for hours worked on the succeeding shift within the twenty-four (24) hour period.

  • Overtime Premium Employees shall be entitled to payment of time and one-half the employee's basic straight time hourly rate for all overtime work in excess of seven and one-half hours in a tour of duty or in excess of the average full-time hours of work over the period scheduled by the Hospital. Such period for this purpose shall not exceed two weeks. It is understood and acknowledged that the Hospital has the right to require employees to perform reasonable overtime work. Call-back shall not be considered as hours worked for purposes of this Article. Overtime premium will not be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall other premiums be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall the same hours worked be counted as part of the normal work week and also as hours for which the overtime premium is paid.
