Insurance; Performance Bond. (a) During the initial term, any subsequent additional term, or any other extension of this Franchise Contract, the Company shall obtain and maintain insurance coverage, at its sole cost and expense, with financially reputable insurers that are licensed to do business in the State of Kansas. Should the Company elect to use the services of an affiliated captive insurance company for this purpose, the Company shall obtain and possess a certificate of authority from the Kansas Insurance Commissioner. The Company shall provide not less than the following insurance:

Insurance; Performance Bond. 13.1 Contractor shall during the term hereof maintain in full force and effect insurance with complies with the Specifications set forth in this Article 12 and contains, at a minimum: (1) a policy of insurance for bodily injury, death and property damage insuring against all claims, demands or actions relating to Contractor’s performance of services pursuant to this Agreement with a minimum combined single limit of not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence for injury to persons (including death), and for property damage; (2) policy of automobile liability insurance covering any vehicles owned and/or operated by Contractor, its officers, agents, and employees, and used in the performance of this Agreement; and (3) statutory Worker’s Compensation Insurance or equivalent covering all of Contractor’s employees involved in the provision of services under this Agreement.

  • Performance Bond Unless otherwise prohibited by law, the Department may require the Contractor to furnish, without additional cost to the Department, a performance bond or irrevocable letter of credit or other form of security for the satisfactory performance of work hereunder. The Department shall determine the type and amount of security.

  • COMPENSATION COVERAGE (a) When an employee is injured at work and goes on Compensation, he or she shall, when the Compensation Board signifies that the employee may go to work, be returned to the payroll at his or her previous job and rate of pay for a period of one (1) week, to see if he or she is able to do the job he or she held at the time of the injury.

  • Insurance Program An eligible employee may waive rights to participate in either single or family coverage. If an employee waives this benefit, such employee may not revoke the waiver until the next open enrollment period and may be accepted only after medical review by the insurance provider.

  • Payment and Performance Bond Prior to the execution of this Contract, City may require Contractor to post a payment and performance bond (Bond). The Bond shall guarantee Contractor’s faithful performance of this Contract and assure payment to contractors, subcontractors, and to persons furnishing goods and/or services under this Contract.

  • Performance Assurance Seller agrees to deliver to Buyer Performance Assurance in a form acceptable to Buyer to secure its obligations under this Agreement, which Performance Assurance Seller shall maintain in full force and effect for the period posted with Buyer, as follows:

  • Insurance Benefits Borrower shall cooperate with Lender in obtaining for Lender the benefits of any Insurance Proceeds lawfully or equitably payable in connection with the Property, and Lender shall be reimbursed for any expenses incurred in connection therewith (including reasonable attorneys' fees and disbursements, and the payment by Borrower of the expense of an appraisal on behalf of Lender in case of a fire or other casualty affecting the Property or any part thereof) out of such Insurance Proceeds.
