Internal Secondment. Employees are eligible to apply through their respective Manager for a secondment of up to one (1) year either within Oxfam Canada or to other Oxfam affiliates and/or Oxfam International, with no reduction in salary and benefits. Such secondment shall be for the professional development of the Employee and/or have significant relevance to the Employee's regular duties and/or to the objectives or programmes of Oxfam Canada. Secondment for more than one (1) year may be considered. Seniority shall accrue during the secondment.

Internal Secondment. Whether a vacancy is suitable for secondment depends on the circumstances of the post. Head Teachers should consider secondments as an opportunity to develop staff, for example where a short term project arises. The normal recruitment and selection process will apply to secondments and generally the secondment opportunity will be advertised through the recruitment portal.
Internal Secondment. 37.2.1 Where an employee is seconded by agreement to another position within ZV’s workforce, the period of secondment shall be for no longer than twelve month, although this period may be extended by mutual agreement between management and the employee. At all times, this agreement should be in writing. Where the organization specifically requests an employee to take up a position at another site a travel allowance will be given or transport arrangement will be made to cover the extra distance travelled. 37.2.2 At the completion of the secondment, the employee is entitled to return to the position held immediately before the secondment. PART 5 - AGREEMENT & RELATED MATTERS 38 RESOLUTION OF DISPUTES & GRIEVANCES 38.1 Resolution of disputes and grievances 38.1.1 Unless otherwise provided for in this Agreement, a dispute or grievance about a matter arising under this Agreement, other than termination of employment, must be dealt with in accordance with this clause. 38.1.2 This clause does not apply to any dispute on a matter or matters arising in the course of bargaining in relation to a proposed workplace agreement. 38.1.3 A person bound by this agreement may choose to be represented at any stage by a representative, including a union representative or employer’s organisation. 38.2 Obligations 38.2.1 The parties to the dispute or grievance, and their representatives, must genuinely attempt to resolve the dispute or grievance through the processes set out in this clause and must cooperate to ensure that these processes are carried out expeditiously. 38.2.2 Whilst a dispute or grievance is being dealt with in accordance with this clause, work must continue in accordance with usual practice, provided that this does not apply to an employee who has a reasonable concern about an imminent risk to his or her health or safety, has advised the employer of this concern and has not unreasonably failed to comply with a direction by the employer to perform other available work that is safe and appropriate for the Employee to perform. 38.2.3 No person bound by the agreement will be prejudiced as to the final settlement of the dispute or grievance by the continuance of work in accordance with this clause.

  • Secondment Where an Employee is being seconded from the Employer to a position involving the Health Sector of the Broader Public Sector, the terms and conditions of the secondment agreement will be established by agreement of the Employer and the Union.

  • Transitional Services Upon cancellation, termination, or expiration of the Contract for any reason, the Contractor shall provide reasonable cooperation, assistance and Services, and shall assist the Department to facilitate the orderly transition of the work under the Contract to the Department and/or to an alternative contractor selected for the transition upon written notice to the Contractor at least thirty (30) business days prior to termination or cancellation, and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Contract.

  • Transition Seller will not take any action that is designed or intended to have the effect of discouraging any lessor, licensor, customer, supplier, or other business associate of the Company from maintaining the same business relationships with the Company after the Closing as it maintained with the Company prior to the Closing. The Seller will refer all customer inquiries relating to the business of the Company to the Purchaser from and after the Closing.

  • External Hosting Facilities DST shall implement controls, consistent with applicable prevailing industry practices and standards, regarding the collection, use, storage and/or disclosure of Fund Data by an external hosting provider.

  • Transition Services The Purchasers will provide to the Sellers termination assistance as reasonably requested in order to provide an orderly transition following the termination of the Agreement (or any portion thereof), and the Sellers will provide to the Purchasers reasonable cooperation and assistance in connection therewith. In connection with this transition assistance, the Purchasers and Sellers will reasonably cooperate in the transition of the Services from the Purchasers to any Replacement Provider. With respect to the Serviced Appointments subject to termination, the Sellers shall provide the Purchasers with notice of the effective date (each, a “Transition Effective Date”) of the transition of the Services to a Replacement Provider. Notwithstanding any termination of the Agreement (or any portion thereof) in accordance with this Article II, with respect to the Serviced Appointments subject to termination, the rights and obligations of the parties under the Servicing Agreement shall remain in effect until the applicable Transition Effective Date.

  • Audit Controls a. System Security Review. CONTRACTOR must ensure audit control mechanisms that record and examine system activity are in place. All systems processing and/or storing PHI COUNTY discloses to CONTRACTOR or CONTRACTOR creates, receives, maintains, or transmits on behalf of COUNTY must have at least an annual system risk assessment/security review which provides assurance that administrative, physical, and technical controls are functioning effectively and providing adequate levels of protection. Reviews should include vulnerability scanning tools.
