13.03 For support staff, if within ten (10) days of a decision being made. The Board agrees to provide a listing of the successful applicants for job postings within ten shifts worked or one (10) days of the decision being made.
16.03 A regular employee who has accepted a position through the posting process shall be restricted from bidding on posted positions for ninety (901) calendar days month, whichever is the shortest, counted from the date of appointment to the posted assignment unless the new assignment provides the employee with a higher income commenced work in their new position, they prove (in the opinion of management) to be unsatisfactory or shift change (day shift/afternoon shift).

Job Postings. 16.01 Details 10.1 The Corporation shall post a notice of positions staff changes in all departments covered by this Agreement, five (5) working days prior to filling any vacancy in respect to a permanent position covered by this Agreement. Such notices shall contain the following: - Nature of position, i.e. department and type of work; required knowledge and education; ability and skills; whether day, evening or night shift; and salary. Any application for the posted position shall be in writing and shall be addressed to the City Human Resources Office - to be signed by the applicant and delivered to said office on or before the date specified in the posting. An employee may have a Union Representative present during an interview by making such request prior to the date and the time for the interview. Any such representative shall be the same person during all interviews for any one position and shall be in attendance as an observer only. Upon request, an unsuccessful applicant who has not received an interview shall receive from the Director of Human Resources or Designate, a written explanation of the reason(s) for denial of an interview.

16.04 If a regular employee is restricted as per 16.03 above, he/she may contact a Human Resources Officer for permission to bid on a position during the restricted period. 10.9 If the Corporation requires an employee to upgrade skills in order to perform his/her job which has undergone technological change, then the Corporation may provide fully subsidized training and assistance.
10.10 When new positions are created or existing positions reclassified, the Corporation will advise the Union in advance of the nature of the positions and the interim salary.
10.11 Any testing that is required to reflect the successful applicant skills and accepts abilities that are required to perform the position, he/she job shall be restricted from bidding on posted positions for period of three months from the start date.

Job Postings. 16.01 Details It is the policy of the Society to promote from within where possible and reasonable to do so. In such a case permanent vacancies in the bargaining unit and vacancies for contract positions will be posted electronically. The positions which are expected to continue for at least one year will be posted on Wednesdays by 4:00 pmbulletin boards throughout the Society's operations. Postings shall contain the job title, current salary range, seniority group, location, and where applicable, a brief description of the duties and responsibilities. In addition, the posting shall indicate those qualifications required by the Society. 16.07 The Board shall provide Society agrees that where a permanent vacancy within the Union with a list bargaining unit has been posted and the vacancy is subsequently filled, all applicants will be advised in writing of all internal applicants for all job postings.

The Human Resources Department will mail copies of job postings to the employee during this period provided the employee does not have access to view and apply for the job postings through the electronic process. Job Postings. 16.01 Details It is the policy of the Society to promote from within where possible and reasonable to do so. In such a case permanent vacancies in the bargaining unit and vacancies for contract positions will be posted electronically. The positions which are expected to continue for at least one year will be posted on Wednesdays by 4:00 pmbulletin boards throughout the Society's operations. Postings shall contain the job title, current salary range, seniority group, location, and where applicable, a brief description of the duties and responsibilities. In addition, the posting shall indicate those qualifications required by the Society. The Society agrees not to refer prospective new employees to a hiring supervisor or department head until all internal applications have been fully processed. Job Postings. 16.01 Details a) When a vacancy occurs in full-time employee positions in this Bargaining Unit, written notice of positions will such vacancy shall be posted electronically. The positions will forwarded to each school and to each department to be posted on Wednesdays the bulletin board as outlined in Article 28.01. Receipt of such notice will be deemed to have occurred two (2) working days following notification. There will be no posting if an employee is offered and accepts an increase in hours. It is understood that the member selecting must possess the qualifications, skills and abilities for the position.
