Common use of Job Postings Clause in Contracts

Job Postings. (a) When a vacancy occurs or a new position is created inside the bargaining unit, the Employer shall notify the Union in writing and post notice of the position in the Employer’s offices, and on all bulletin boards and Union binders, within seven (7) days of the vacancy or of the new position being established, for a minimum of fourteen (14) calendar days, so that all members will know about the vacancy or new position. (b) The Employer shall not advertise outside the agency for any position until the end of seven (7) calendar days’ internal posting.
