Joint Consultation Committee. (a) The parties agree to establish a Joint Labour-Management Committee to promote harmonious relations between the Employer and the employees and to discuss matters not specifically covered by the collective agreement and to avoid misunderstandings or problems arising from the application of the Agreement. The parties agree that training will be an on-going item on the agenda. (b) Recommendations from the Joint Labour-Management Committee will require written approval by authorized representatives of the Union and the Employer prior to implementation. The Union shall notify the Employer in writing of the representatives authorized to act on behalf of the Union. (c) Nothing in this Article shall prohibit the Employer from taking action on matters, which have been the subject of joint consultation by the Joint Labour-Management Committee.
