Common use of Jury Duty and Crown Witness Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty and Crown Witness. 20.01 Employees subpoenaed as Crown Witness or for jury duty shall be paid the difference between the normal daily wages and the amount they receive for such public duty. 20.02 Employees who must appear in court for reasons of other than those mentioned in Article 20.01 shall be granted local leaves of absence without pay provided they supply the proof or verification for such attendance.
