Common use of Jury Duty or Subpoena Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty or Subpoena. Any Certified Staff who is called for jury duty during school hours or who is subpoenaed by any person or party to appear as a witness for official proceedings shall be provided leave for such duty or appearance. The Certified Staff shall be paid his/her regular salary and shall remit to the District any stipend paid by the court or a party for such appearance. Reimbursement by the court for expenses in connection with such duty or appearance may be retained by the Certified Staff.
