Common use of Jury Leave Clause in Contracts

Jury Leave. The Employer shall grant leave of absence to an employee who serves as a juror or witness in any court. The Employer shall pay such employee the difference between her/his normal earnings and benefits and the payment s/he receives for jury service or court witness, excluding payment for travelling, meals and other expenses. The employee will present proof of service and the amount of the pay received.
