Keying. The term “keying” as used herein in conjunction with the phrase “treating surfaces of unset concrete” shall mean the preparation of beds, or the like to receive insitu pavings by raking with a standard horticultural rake whilst the concrete is still green and when the concrete is set and cured, protecting the raked surfaces with a layer of clean sand and removing the sand immediately before the insitu paving is laid.
Keying. A. All cores and keys shall be 7-pin small format interchangeable format.
B. To ensure the OWNER’S requirements are satisfied, a meeting must be held with the OWNER, ARCHITECT, CONTRACTOR and Hardware Supplier to finalize the keying schedule. Bittings for each project will be furnished to the supplier by the OWNER.
C. The keying for any medication storage area or closet in a school clinic, shall be keyed “SKD” as directed by the OWNER.
D. All elevators, powered rollup doors and gates shall be controlled by the specified key system.
E. Two (2) change keys having “VKC” shall be supplied for each opening. Where numerous duplicate keyed openings exist this number may be adjusted at the discretion of the OWNER.
F. Furnish 1 key blank for each lock on the project, round the quantity of key blanks up to the manufacturer’s box quantity [e.g. for a job with 189 locks, provide 200 blanks]. Provide for a minimum of 200 blanks on each new construction project.
G. Provide 20 uncombinated cores per project matching the finish and keyway of the majority of product on the job. Uncombinated cores must be capable of being field stamped with VKC without distorting core face.
H. Stamp each core face and key bow with its key set symbol [“Visual Key Control” a.k.
a. “VKC”]; omit change key numbers on key bow.
I. Brass construction cores shall be provided and installed by the manufacturer prior to shipping.
J. The CONTRACTOR shall be required to provide a unit price quote for the credit to be issued for the return of brass construction cores at the end of the job. The CONTRACTOR OR SUB CONTRACTOR shall arrange for the cores to be picked up by the Hardware Supplier and the credit shall be issued as a change proposal.
K. Temporary Construction Trims and Cylinders are specified for Card Key Access Doors. These trims are to be used during construction and then turned over to the owner when Card Key Trims are installed.
L. Provide 24 construction keys and 6 construction control keys for each project. Verify exact quantity with OWNER.
M. Permanent Building Grand Master, Master Keys, etc shall be furnished according to the following schedule:
1. Elementary Schools – Fifteen (15 each) Sub-Master Keys and above.
2. Secondary Schools – Twenty Five (25 each) Sub-Master Keys and above.
3. Other non-school facilities (i.e. Administration, Warehouse, Instructional Support Center, etc. – Fifteen (15 each) Sub-Master Keys and above.
N. All permanent keys, cores, key blanks and uncombinated core...
Keying. If the Tenant shall receive a key for the doors to be used by the Tenant. The Tenant will maintain a list of all persons responsible for a key or keys, with such list to contain a signature of each person who has possession of keys.
Keying. A. All locks and cylinders shall be master keyed per the Owner’s instructions to the Owner’s restricted keyway system.
B. All cylinders shall be Schlage Everest D family of patented restricted keyways. Cylinders for all doors shall be equipped with interchangeable core cylinders, permanently “side stamped” with keying designation. All keys shall be permanently stamped with keying designation as well.
C. Provide 1 Cut key per individual lock, 2 Blank keys per individual lock and a total of 6 master keys for each group.
D. All master keys shall be delivered directly to the Owner by the hardware supplier, who shall obtain a receipt for delivery of same.
Keying. A. Furnish factory key, master-key, and grand-master-key locks and cylinders as directed by Xxxxxx XXXXX and/or the participating District(s).
X. Xxxxxxx individual-keys, master-keys and grand-master-keys as directed by Xxxxxx XXXXX and/or the participating District(s).
C. Construction keying:
Keying. A. Master key or Grand master key cylinders and key in groups, unless otherwise specified. Factory masterkey with manufacturer retaining permanent keying records.
B. Provide 6 masterkeys for each masterkey set. Provide 3 change keys for each lock. Provide 2 control keys for core removal. Stamp keys "DO NOT DUPLICATE."
C. Submit proposed keying schedule to Architect. If requested, meet with Owner and Architect to review schedule.
D. Provide full size removable core cylinders, with patented key control, for each lock with temporary keyed brass construction cores. Permanent cores shall be installed upon completion of the project to match existing key systems.
Keying. All keying shall be coordinated through the Building Manager. Keys shall be provided according to the lease terms. A schedule for lock systems should be coordinated with the Building Manager well in advance of the actual ordering of lock systems. All keying will be done in accordance to Bethesda Place I.
Keying. Any low voltage work (telephone/computers). d. Window coverings.
