Late Pay. As used herein, "Late Pay" and “late paid” refers to all hours of overtime worked by a sworn employee which were compensated later than permitted by the FLSA.

Late Pay. If the Company does not provide the employee with full pay within days of the set pay date, the Company shall immediatelyprovide the employee with an emergency cheque to cover the amount. Acting Pay Unique operational requirements or day-to-day work needs may require employees io perform some or all of the responsibilitiesof an acting Section Head for short periods of time. The Company views such temporary assignment as opportunitiesfor employees to develop and demonstrate their capabilities and broaden their experience base.

ARTICLE OVERTIME General Regulations All authorized overtime work, other than that described elsewhere in this Article, shall be compensated for at the standard overtime rate of time and one-half, which is defined to be a payment of one and one half times the normal hourly rate of pay for each hour of overtime work performed. For the purpose of this Article, the expression "normal hourly rate of pay" is defined to be of the employee's current annual salary and the expression "overtime is to be read as excluding the time allowed for a meal period, where taken. Overtime work shall be distributed on an equitable basis among employees who normally perform the work.
Late PayWhere an employee, through no fault of their own is incorrectly paid, and where it can be evidenced that Yarra Trams has failed in correctly paying the employee, Yarra Trams will undertake where the value of the underpayment is $20 or more to process a correction via EFT within 48 hours (excluding weekends and Public Holidays). Xxxxx Xxxxx will investigate and acknowledge the underpayment within 24 hours (excluding weekends and Public Holidays) of receipt of the employee’s notification. The 48 hours commences from acknowledgement by Xxxxx Xxxxx that an incorrect pay has been made.

  • Late Payments Except as expressly provided to the contrary in this Agreement or in any Ancillary Agreement, any amount not paid when due pursuant to this Agreement or any Ancillary Agreement (and any amounts billed or otherwise invoiced or demanded and properly payable that are not paid within thirty (30) days of such xxxx, invoice or other demand) shall accrue interest at a rate per annum equal to Prime Rate plus two (2%) percent.

  • Late Payment Timeliness of payment and any interest to be paid to Contractor for late payment shall be governed by Article 11-A of the State Finance Law to the extent required by law.

  • Late Payment Rent Late payment by Tenant to Landlord of Rent and other sums due will cause Landlord to incur costs not contemplated by this Lease, the exact amount of which will be extremely difficult and impracticable to ascertain. Such costs include, but are not limited to, processing and accounting charges and late charges which may be imposed on Landlord under any Mortgage covering the Premises. Therefore, if any installment of Rent due from Tenant is not received by Landlord within 5 days after the date such payment is due, Tenant shall pay to Landlord an additional sum equal to 6% of the overdue Rent as a late charge. Notwithstanding the foregoing, before assessing a late charge the first time in any calendar year, Landlord shall provide Tenant written notice of the delinquency and will waive the right if Tenant pays such delinquency within 5 days thereafter. The parties agree that this late charge represents a fair and reasonable estimate of the costs Landlord will incur by reason of late payment by Tenant. In addition to the late charge, Rent not paid when due shall bear interest at the Default Rate from the 5th day after the date due until paid.
