LEAVE, VACATION (2021). Section 1. Eligibility for Leave (2017) Vacation leave will be earned by all full-time and permanent part-time employees who are authorized to work twenty (20) or more hours per week, from the initial date of their most recent employment. In the case of permanent part-time employees, leave will accrue proportionately to authorized hours during the bi-weekly period. Part-time employees who are authorized to work less than twenty (20) hours, who were hired into such position on or before June 30, 2017, shall continue to earn vacation leave on a prorated basis.

LEAVE, VACATION (2021). Section 2. Accrual of Vacation Leave (2021) Leave will be accrued as follows: Period of Continuous Employment Bi-weekly Accrual in Hours for 40-hour workweek employees Less than 3 years 3.7 hours 3 to less than 5 years 4.2 hours 5 to less than 10 years 4.7 hours 10 to less than 15 years 5.6 hours 15 to less than 20 years 6.5 hours 20 years or more 8 hours Employees who, effective June 30, 2017, are accruing vacation leave at 8.4 hours bi- weekly (25 to 30 years) or 9.3 hours bi-weekly (30+ years), will continue to do so for the duration of their employment with the Judicial Branch. State employees with uninterrupted state service, who transfer directly into the Judicial Branch from either the Executive or Legislative Departments, will earn vacation leave based upon their entire period of state employment. If an employee leaves state service (court, executive or legislative), and later returns and works three (3) more consecutive years, the total amount of time worked in the former state service shall be used for purposes of computing vacation leave accrual.   • ANNUAL LEAVE (VACATION) A. Full time employees, except for participants in the Deferred Retirement Option Program, shall be entitled to earn Annual Leave (Vacation) time according to the following schedule: YEARS OF CONSECUTIVE SERVICE COMPLETED: DAYS EARNED PER BI-WEEKLY PERIOD: UP TO AN ANNUAL MAXIMUM OF: less than 5 .38 10 days 5 .57 15 days 10 .65 17 days 13 .77 20 days 20 .80 21 days 21 .84 22 days 22 .88 23 days 23 .92 24 days 24 .96 25 days B. Annual Leave days may be accumulated to a maximum of thirty (30) work days.

  • Sick Leave While on Vacation An employee who while on vacation is incapacitated for one (1) or more days due to personal illness or injury may charge such days to accrued sick leave. In such event, the employee promptly shall notify his department, and upon return to duty shall substantiate the need for, and use of, sick leave.

  • Annual Vacation Leave 30.01 An Employee shall not take vacation leave without prior authorization from the Employer.

  • SECTION 4 - VACATION 4.1 Employee shall be entitled to accrue and take vacation leave in accordance with the policy applicable to employees of Manitoba.

  • Weeks Vacation Subject to Article 17.08 and Article 17.01 (a) (ii), employees shall be entitled to take five (5) weeks vacation leave with pay during the first and subsequent complete fiscal years following the date in which they complete fourteen (14) years of service. Such leave shall be earned at the rate of two and one-twelfth (2 1/12) days for each completed calendar month of service.

  • Banked Vacation Once every five years an employee may bank one full year's vacation to be taken in conjunction with the next year's vacation. For the purposes of this clause, all vacation in the second year must be taken concurrently.

  • Paid Vacation Except as otherwise provided in this Article, paid vacation shall be granted no longer than the fiscal year immediately following the fiscal year in which it is earned.

  • Vacation Leave Maximum Employees may accumulate maximum vacation leave balances not to exceed two hundred and forty (240) hours. However, there are two (2) exceptions that allow vacation leave to accumulate above the maximum:

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.

  • Annual Vacation Auxiliary employees will be entitled to receive annual vacation at the rate of four percent (4%) of their regular earnings. After one thousand (1,000) days worked, auxiliary employees will be entitled to receive annual vacation at the rate of six percent (6%) of their regular earnings.
