Leave Without Pay for More Than. 31 Days In instances of short term/long term disability, pregnancy and parental leave, or education leave, the University will continue to pay premiums on group life and disability and the employer’s share of dental premiums, extended health care and pension contributions where the member continues to pay the employee’s share. The University shall have each member elect, in writing, whether they wish to continue paying premiums while on leave.
