Legal Fund. Section 19.1 The Employer shall make contributions to the “Building Service 32BJ Legal Services Fund” (“Legal Fund”) to provide employees under this Agreement who have completed six (6) months of employment with such benefits as may be determined by the Trustees.
Section 19.2 The rate of contribution to the Legal Fund shall be $16.63 per month for each employee who has been employed more than ninety (90) days. Contributions are not required on behalf of employees on layoff or leave of absence.
Legal Fund. Effective April 1, 2019, contributions to the Legal Fund increase from $7.00 to $9.00 per month per employee.
Legal Fund. Section 21.1 The Employer shall make contributions to the “Building Service 32BJ Legal Services Fund” (“Legal Fund”) to provide employees who have completed 90 days of employment under this Agreement with such benefits as may be determined by the Trustees.
Section 21.2 The rate of contribution to the Legal Fund shall be $16.63 per month for each employee who has been employed more than ninety (90) days. Contributions are not required on behalf of employees on layoff or leave of absence.
Section 21.3 By agreeing to make the required payments into the Fund, the Employer hereby adopts and shall be bound by the Agreement and Declaration of Trust as it may be amended and the rules and regulations adopted or hereafter adopted by the Trustees of the Fund in connection with the provision and administration of benefits and the collection of contributions. The Trustees of the Fund shall make such amendments to the Trust Agreement and shall adopt such regulations as may be required to conform to applicable law.
Legal Fund. The Employer shall make contributions to the Group Pre-paid Legal Plan of $199.60 per employee per year payable as the Trustees of the Legal Fund determine.
Legal Fund. The Employer shall make contributions to the “Building Service 32BJ Legal Services Fund” to cover employees covered by the Agreement with such benefits as may be determined by the Trustees. The rate of contribution to the Legal Fund and waiting period shall be as established in the Economic Zone Addendum applicable to each geography.
Legal Fund. Article 17 (Legal Fund) shall be modified as follows:
A. Effective January 1, 2024, the monthly rate of contribution to the Legal Fund, payable when and how the Trustees determine, shall be one dollar ($1.00) per employee. Effective January 1, 2025, the monthly rate of contribution to the Legal Fund, payable when and how the Trustees determine, shall be fourteen dollars and sixty-three cents ($14.63) per employee. Effective January 1, 2026, the monthly rate of contribution to the Legal Fund, payable when and how the Trustees determine, shall be fourteen dollars and sixty-three cents ($14.63) per employee. Effective January 1, 2027, the monthly rate of contribution to the Legal Fund, payable when and how the Trustees determine, shall be one dollar ($1.00) per employee.
Legal Fund. Article 17 (Legal Fund ) shall be modified as follows:
A. Add the following to paragraph 17.1: “Effective January 1, 2024, the rate of contribution to the Legal Fund shall be fourteen dollars and sixty-three cents ($14.63) per month for each employee. Effective January 1, 2027, the rate of contribution to the Legal Fund shall be one dollar ($1.00) per month for each employee.”
Legal Fund. Article 17 (Legal Fund) shall be modified as follows:
A. Effective January 1, 2024, the monthly rate of contribution to the Legal Fund, payable when and how the Trustees determine, shall be $1.00 per employee. Effective January 1, 2025, the monthly rate of contribution to the Legal Fund, payable when and how the Trustees determine, shall be $14.63 per employee. Effective January 1, 2026, the monthly rate of contribution to the Legal Fund, payable when and how the Trustees determine, shall be $14.63 per employee. Effective January 1, 2027, the monthly rate of contribution to the Legal Fund, payable when and how the Trustees determine, shall be $1.00 per employee.
Legal Fund. Effective January 1, 2021, the Employer shall make contributions to the Group Pre-paid Legal Plan payable as the Trustees of the Legal Fund determine. Effective January 1, 2021, the rate of contribution shall be $0.11 per employee per hour paid for all employees who have completed one hundred (120) days of employment, up to 40 hours per week per employee. Effective January 1, 2022, the rate of contribution shall be $0.11 per employee per hour paid for all employees who have completed one hundred (120) days of employment, up to 40 hours per week per employee. Effective January 1, 2023, the rate of contribution shall be $0.02 per employee per hour paid for all employees who have completed one hundred (120) days of employment, up to 40 hours per week per employee. Effective January 1, 2024, the rate of contribution shall be $0.11 per employee per hour paid for all employees who have completed one hundred (120) days of employment, up to 40 hours per week per employee. There shall be a one hundred twenty (120) day waiting period for employees to become eligible to participate in the Fund.
