Common use of Long Term Leave of Absence Clause in Contracts

Long Term Leave of Absence. A long-term leave of absence may be requested by a Teacher provided that the request is in writing to the Director. Terms and conditions pertaining to the requested leave of absence shall be by mutual agreement in writing, between the Teacher and the Board. One of the conditions required for the approval is the Teacher agrees to notify the Board in writing of his/her intentions to return for the forthcoming school year (if leave is to continue beyond the end of the current year) as follows:
