Notification of Intent to Return. The educational assistant must notify the Human Resource Department in writing no later than March 1 or two (2) months prior to the originally-scheduled date of the leave termination, whichever is earlier, of his/her specific intent to conclude the leave and return to active service at the specified date. Failure to notify will be treated as though the person has resigned and has no further rights to return.
Notification of Intent to Return. In leaves covered in this section, the faculty member shall sign an Agreement that the faculty member shall notify the Chancellor prior to March 15 (December 1 for Fall Semester leaves) if the faculty member does not intend to return to District employment at the expiration of the leave. Either failure to provide such notice or failure to return shall constitute a breach of contract.

In leaves covered in this section, the faculty member must sign an Agreement that the Chancellor shall be notified in writing not less than sixty (60) days before the end of the semester or by April 1 (December 1 for fall semester leaves) whichever is earlier, of her/his intention to return. Notification of Intent to Return. Teachers on leave shall notify the District by March 1 of the intent to return or not return. Upon return from leave, a Teacher’s request for assignment will be considered.
Notification of Intent to Return. A. The Professional Staff Member on leave for one (1) school year or for the full second semester shall notify the Director of Human Resources, in writing, by April 1 of his/her intent to return to his/her teaching duties in August or to ask for an extension of said leave, if eligible.
B. Professional Staff Members on leave for the full first semester only shall notify the Director of Human Resources, in writing, by December 1 of his/her intent to return to his/her teaching duties at the beginning of the second semester or to ask for an extension of said leave, if eligible.
Notification of Intent to Return. A. For any extended leave expected to extend over the summer with a return date expected in the following school year, written notification of the/employee’s intent to return at the conclusion of their leave must be postmarked/received by April 1st.
B. If such notification is not received by that date, the employee shall forfeit their rights to their previously held position and shall be assigned to a suitable position at the discretion of the Superintendent upon their return. A second deadline of July 1st shall be applied for those employees seeking an extended leave whose initial FMLA or Parental Leaves expire after May 1st.
C. A Paraprofessional on an approved extended leave may not return during a school/year prior to their expected return date except to fill a vacancy or by the approval of the Superintendent. For the purpose of this section, a vacancy includes a position held by a substitute teacher, per diem or long term, but not by a non-tenured teacher under contract.
Notification of Intent to Return. The bargaining unit member shall notify the Superintendent by April 1 of his/her intent to return from leave when an additional year of leave is still available.
Notification of Intent to Return. The employee shall notify the Superintendent in writing sixty-five (65) days prior to the end of a leave whether they shall be returning to their position. If the employee fails to do so, the Board shall mail a letter by certified mail, return receipt requested, to the employee at their last address on record with the District notifying them of their failure. Notification of Intent to Return. The College shall provide a Notification of Intent to Return form for each faculty member no later than March 1st of each calendar year. In return; each faculty member, no later than March 31st shall notify the College in writing of his/her intent to return; using the form provided. The names of faculty who indicate they do not intend to return will be forwarded to the Federation and the direct supervisor for informational purposes.
Notification of Intent to Return. 1.1 The employee must provide written notification to the Assistant Director, Human Resource Department indicating their specific intent to conclude the leave and be available to return to active service as of the termination date specified in the leave. This written notification must be received by the Human Resource Department no later than two (2) months prior to the originally-scheduled date of the leave termination.
1.2 Failure to notify will be treated as though the person has resigned and has no further rights to return.
1.3 The Human Resource Department will assign the person to an appropriate vacancy should one exist, upon the completion of the leave.
