Credit on Salary Schedule. Upon the return of the teacher to full time employment and his/her completion of the approved program of study or professional improvement, the Board shall grant credit on the salary schedule for such time spent in an approved program of study or professional improvement.
Credit on Salary Schedule. For the purposes of seniority and placement on the salary schedule, years of absence in military service of the United States, not to exceed five years, shall be counted as though regular service had been performed at the time.
Credit on Salary Schedule. Unless otherwise stipulated in the specific leave policy, time spent on leave shall not be counted as experience for advancement on the salary schedule.

Units earned on Educational Sabbatical Leave may not be credited towards Professional Growth.
Credit on Salary Schedule. Salary schedule credit may not be earned while on personal leave if the School District has paid or reimbursed the teacher for the cost of tuition, registration fee, mileage, and/or materials.
Credit on Salary Schedule. Leaves of not more than one (1) year for educational improvement, Foreign Service and exchange teaching shall be counted as one year of experience for advancement on the salary schedule. Leaves of one (1) semester shall be credited as one semester for advancement. Leaves for health purposes shall not count for such advancement.

Credit on Salary Schedule. Teachers can submit verification of pre-approved coursework completion indicating eligibility for a lane change by October 15th (retroactive to the September 15th payroll) or February 15th (effective on the February 28th payroll).
Credit on Salary Schedule. Any employee drafted or recalled by the military while currently employed shall continue advancement on the salary schedule in the same manner as though he/she were teaching.
