Lunch/Dinner Breaks. The Head Custodian in each building shall arrange for a lunch break period of one-half hour for day custodians in his/her building, such break to fall within the fourth and sixth hours of duty . The Head Custodian in each building shall arrange for a dinner break for night employees in his/her building, such break to be for a half hour, and such break to fall within the third and sixth hours of duty . All lunch and dinner schedules must be approved by the Director of Facilities and Operation . Lunch schedules may be altered in emergency situations, with the approval of the Head Custodian or his/her designee .

Lunch/Dinner Breaks. Officers assigned to the 11.5-hour shift will be authorized two lunch/dinner breaks per shift of 30 minutes each in length. These are paid lunch/dinner breaks and officers will be required to respond for calls to duty during these breaks. These two breaks are independent of each other and shall not be combined.   • Lunch Breaks The lunch break will consist of a one-half hour (or one hour where scheduled) unpaid break taken mid-way during regular work day. In the event that an employee is required to work during his regular lunch period he shall be allowed a one-half hour lunch period between the hours of ll:30 a.m. and l:00 p.m., otherwise he shall be paid double time for working through said lunch period.

  • Lunch Break Each Teacher shall receive each day an uninterrupted and continuous period of not less than forty (40) minutes for lunch, free from supervisory, teaching or other assigned duties (reference: Regulation 298.s. 3, Daily Sessions).

  • Coffee Breaks The Company will provide two (2) fifteen (15) minute coffee breaks during each work day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

  • Tea Breaks (a) Every employee will be entitled to a paid 10 minute tea break in each four hours worked at a time to be agreed between the employee and employer.

  • Breaks 16.1 Two separate ten-minute tea breaks (in addition to meal breaks) shall be allowed each employee on duty during each ordinary shift of 7.6 hours or more; where less than 7.6 ordinary hours are worked employees shall be allowed one 10-minute tea break in each four-hour period. Subject to agreement between the employer and the employee, the two ten-minute tea breaks may alternatively be taken as one 20-minute tea break, or by one ten-minute tea break with the employee allowed to proceed off duty ten minutes before the completion of the normal shift finishing time. Such tea break(s) shall count as working time.

  • Rest Breaks Employees shall receive a fifteen (15) minute break during each four (4) hours worked. It is the Employer's intention to provide uninterrupted rest breaks.

  • Tie Breaker In the event a reduction in number of teachers creates a situation requiring that a choice be made among teachers who have equal seniority, the selection of the teacher(s) for purposes of reduction shall be at the discretion of the School District based on criteria including performance, training, experience, skills in special assignments, special or advanced certifications obtained in the teacher’s field and subject matter employed, and other relevant factors.

  • WORK CLOTHES The employer shall provide all necessary work clothes (coveralls, work shoes or equivalent, and insulated coveralls, winter coveralls and rain gear as needed), as well as safety equipment, including personal safety gear. Work clothes and safety gear provided by the company are the property of the company. When a new set of work clothes is provided, the worn set shall be handed in. Used safety equipment as mentioned above shall be properly cleaned before being reissued.

  • Dinner Dinner reimbursement may be claimed only if the employee is away from his/her temporary or permanent work station in a travel status overnight or is required to remain in a travel status until after 7:00 P.M.

  • Lunch If the Company elects to furnish a lunch meal, it will be suitable and may be in the form of a box lunch. The meal shall be eaten at the job site or a Company designated location. Employees eating a box lunch or other Company-provided lunch at the job site will be allowed 30 minutes paid time to eat and will also be granted the dollar amount of the meal allowance as specified under the labor agreement.
