Paid Lunch. All employees shall be entitled to a paid lunch period in accordance with Departmental practices established for that purpose.
Paid Lunch. An employee required to work through regular meal break will be given time to eat at a time agreed upon by the employee and their supervisor which is scheduled as near the middle of the employee’s shift as practical, given the demands of the day’s work. In the event the City requires the employee to forego a meal break, the employee shall be compensated for the foregone meal at the employee’s appropriate rate of pay.
Paid Lunch. All employees shall be granted a paid lunch period of 30 minutes during each full shift. Whenever possible the lunch period shall be scheduled at the middle of each full shift. When there is an extension of an eight (8) hour workday beyond the normal eight (8) hours as a result of an emergency or scheduled overtime, a paid lunch period shall be granted when the extension exceeds four (4) hours.
Paid Lunch. Full-time Employees in grades Preschool-5 shall have a paid duty-free lunch period of at least thirty (30) minutes in length. Full-time Employees in grades 6-12 shall have a paid duty-free lunch period of at least twenty-five (25) minutes in length.
Paid Lunch. Employees shall be paid lunch if the employee is unable to have a lunch break due to urgent work or due to the location at the applicable rate.
Paid Lunch. All employees regularly scheduled to work twenty (20) or more hours per week and a minimum of eight hundred (800) hours per year (see Article 7, Section 1, Employment) are eligible for the following options: One (1) lunch meal provided by the College at ACDC (the Central Dining Facility). When ACDC is closed for scheduled repairs or cleaning, the College will make the lunch meal available to eligible employees at the Retreat facility. Should both the ACDC and Retreat facilities be out of service due to an unplanned event (e.g. power failure) the Union releases the College from its obligation to provide lunch until the necessary repairs can be made at which time the College will again provide a lunch meal to eligible employees. Should the College close both facilities in a planned shutdown, it remains the College’s obligation to provide a lunch meal to eligible employees.
Paid Lunch. The District shall continue the practice of providing a paid thirty (30) minute lunch as part of the employees’ regular day for all employees scheduled to work a minimum of four and one half hours per day (4.5).
Paid Lunch. Only employees who work 8 continuous hours, 5 days per week in one position shall have a one-half (1/2) hour paid lunch period as assigned by their immediate Supervisor.
Paid Lunch. During summer break the Maintenance personnel will be offered a paid lunch at straight time.
