Meaning of Public Holiday. (a) The public holidays to which this clause applies are the days determined under Victorian law as public holidays in respect of the following occasions:
(i) 1 January (New Year’s Day);
Meaning of Public Holiday. (a) For the purpose of clarity the following additional public holidays prescribed or declared under the relevant State laws pursuant to section 115(1)(b) of the Act apply to the employer and employees covered by this Agreement: Easter Saturday, Labour Day, Melbourne Cup Day (in respect of Victorian employees) Easter Saturday, Easter (Sunday) and Labour Day (in respect of NSW employees) Western Australian Day and Labour Day (in respect of WA employees) In addition, a day in lieu of the NSW Bank holiday is observed as a Public holiday in NSW.
(b) Full-time employees in NSW and Xxxxxxxx engaged to work Monday to Friday will be entitled to an additional paid day off work in lieu of the Easter Saturday public holiday.
(c) From time to time State laws may prescribe or declare other days as additional public holidays and as such are public holidays for the purposes of this Agreement.
(d) As soon as practical after the public holidays for the calendar year are declared under the relevant State law, the employer will notify this information to its employees.
Meaning of Public Holiday. Employees shall be entitled to the following public holidays:
(a) 1 January (New Year’s Day) (b) 26 January (Australia Day)
Meaning of Public Holiday. 40.2.1 The following are public holidays for the purpose of this Agreement:
(a) Any of these days:
(i) 1 January (New Year’s Day);
(ii) 26 January (Australia Day);
(iii) Adelaide Cup
(iv) Good Friday;
(v) Easter Saturday
Meaning of Public Holiday. The following are Gazetted public holidays for the purpose of this Agreement: Any of these days: 1 January (New Year’s Day); 26 January (Australia Day); 1 March (Labour Day); Good Friday; Easter Monday; 25 April (Anzac Day); 7 June (WA Day) 27 September (Queen’s Birthday); 25 December (Christmas Day); 26 December (Boxing Day);
a) OR any other day gazetted and deemed as a public holiday in the State of Western Australia. If, under (or in accordance with a procedure under) a law of the State of Western Australia, a day or part-day is substituted for a day or part-day that would otherwise be a public holiday because of this clause, then the substituted day or part-day is the public holiday for the purposes of this Agreement. The Company and an Employee may agree on the substitution of a day or part-day for a day or part-day that would otherwise be a public holiday because of this clause.
Meaning of Public Holiday. 7.3.2.1 The following are public holidays for the purpose of this Agreement:
(a) Any of these days:
(i) 1 January (New Year’s Day);
(ii) 26 January (Australia Day);
(iii) Good Friday;
(iv) Easter Monday;
(v) 25 April (Anzac Day);
(vi) the King’s birthday holiday (on the day on which it is celebrated in a State or Territory or a region of a State or Territory);
(vii) 25 December (Christmas Day);
(viii) 26 December (Boxing Day);
(b) any other day, or part-day, declared or prescribed by or under a law of a State or Territory to be observed generally within the State or Territory, or a region of the State or Territory, as a public holiday, other than a day or part-day, or a kind of day or part-day, that is excluded by the regulations from counting as a public holiday.
7.3.2.2 If, under (or in accordance with a procedure under) a law of a State or Territory, a day or part-day is substituted for a day or part-day that would otherwise be a public holiday because of this clause, then the substituted day or part-day is the public holiday for the purposes of this Agreement.
7.3.2.3 The Employer and an Employee may agree on the substitution of a day or part- day for a day or part-day that would otherwise be a public holiday because of this clause.

(I) Each of these days: • 1 January (New Year's Day) • 26 January (Australia Day) • Good Friday • The day after Good Friday • Easter Monday • 25 April (Anzac Day) • the King’s birthday holiday (on the day on which it is celebrated in a State or Territory or a region of a State or Territory) • 25 December (Christmas Day) • 26 December (Boxing Day)
(II) Any other day, or part-day, declared or prescribed by or under a law of a State or Territory to be observed generally within the State or Territory, or a region of the State or Territory, as a public holiday, other than a day or part-day, or a kind (II) of day or part-day, that is excluded by the regulations from counting as a public holiday.
(b) If, under (or in accordance with a procedure under) a law of a State or Territory, a day or part-day is substituted for a day or part-day that would otherwise be a public holiday because of this clause, then the substituted day or part-day is the public holiday for the purposes of this Agreement.
(c) The Employer and an Employee may agree on the substitution of a day or part-day for a day or part-day that would otherwise be a public holiday because of this clause.

(b) any other day, or part-day, declared or prescribed by or under a law of South Australia to be observed generally within South Australia, or a region of South Australia, as a public holiday, other than a day or part-day, or a kind of day or part-day, that is excluded by the regulations from counting as a public holiday.
45.2.2 If, under (or in accordance with a procedure under) a law of South Australia, a day or part-day is substituted for a day or part-day that would otherwise be a public holiday because of this clause, then the substituted day or part- day is the public holiday for the purposes of this Agreement.
45.2.3 The Employer and an Employee may agree on the substitution of a day or part- day for a day or part-day that would otherwise be a public holiday because of this clause.
