MENTORSHIP ALLOWANCE. Effective the date of ratification, a Primary Health Care Nurse or Primary Health Care Nurse in Charge who mentors a Nurse in the Primary Health Care Nurse role and is designated a mentor under a formal mentorship agreement approved by Community Nursing, shall be eligible for an allowance of $125/week. This allowance shall be paid for each week or portion thereof that the approved formal mentorship agreement is in effect. This allowance does not apply to the supervision or mentorship of university student practicums. Participation in a formal mentorship agreement as a designated mentor in Community Nursing will not result in undue workload on other nursing staff in the health centre.   • Uniform Allowance Where uniforms are required, the Hospital shall either supply and launder uniforms or provide a uniform allowance of per year in a lump sum payment in the first pay period of November of each year.

  • - Separation Allowances (a) Where an employee resigns within 30 days after receiving notice of layoff pursuant to article 9.08(a)(ii) that his or her position will be eliminated, he or she shall be entitled to a separation allowance of two (2) weeks' salary for each year of continuous service to a maximum of twelve (12) weeks' pay, and, on production of receipts from an approved educational program, within twelve (12) months of resignation, may be reimbursed for tuition fees up to a maximum of three thousand ($3,000) dollars.

  • Uniform Maintenance Allowance 22.1 The City provides uniforms or uniform allowance for employees represented by the Association. The City will continue to replace, repair and maintain uniforms worn in the line of duty. The average cost of the uniforms/uniform allowances are reported as special compensation (for those employees defined as “classic employees” by the Public Employees’ Pension Reform Act of 2013 for retirement calculation purposes and is currently reported as $17 per pay period.

  • Safety Footwear Allowance Effective 1/1/07, the Contra Costa Community College District will provide an initial two pairs of safety/protective work boots or shoes for employees in the following classifications: Building Maintenance Worker, Equipment Maintenance Worker, Senior Equipment Maintenance Worker, Maintenance Mechanic, Lead Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Assistant, Ground Worker / Gardener I, II, Senior or Lead, Shipping and Receiving Clerk, and all other mutually agreed upon classifications required to wear safety; protective shoes per OSHA/ASTM standards.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance ‌ An employee who works two and one-half hours of overtime immediately before or following his/her scheduled hours of work shall receive a meal allowance of seven dollars. One-half hour with pay shall be allowed the employee in order that he/she may take a meal break either at or adjacent to his/her place of work.
