Common use of Minimum Reporting Allowance Clause in Contracts

Minimum Reporting Allowance. When an employee reports for work at his assigned starting time without being told in advance by the Home not to report at said time, then the employee shall receive work or pay in lieu of work, for four (4) hours during that day. This obligation on the part of the Home shall cease if no work can be provided due to fire, Acts of God or other circumstances beyond the control of the Home, or failure on the part of the employee to keep the Home informed of his current address and telephone number.
