Miscellaneous Feeders. 1. In the event a new District is created within the jurisdiction of the Union, trailer drivers in the existing Districts shall have the right to transfer to the new District within classification, on a seniority basis, subject to the operating needs of the Company. 2. In the event a new hub is created within the jurisdiction of the Union, the trailer drivers in said hub shall be on the same seniority list as the existing trailer drivers. Trailer drivers in the existing hub shall have the right to transfer to the hub, within classification, on a seniority basis, subject to the operating needs of the Company. 3. If a feeder job is abolished, or changed by fifty (50) percent or if the starting time is changed by more than one (1) hour, the driver may; stay with the job, or elect to become a spare, or exercise his/her feeder seniority to displace a junior driver within their district. This procedure is limited to five (5) displacements. The sixth move is to dovetail onto the spare list. This displacement option will not apply from November 15th through December 25TH. The shop xxxxxxx will be actively involved in the displacement process as not to disrupt the employers operations. Each week, one (1) day before the weekly schedule is posted the Union will notify, in writing, the appropriate management representative of any bid reassignments. 4. If a trailer driver chooses to bid on a permanent vacant job, his or her job will then go up for bid only if he or she vacates a bid job. 5. If a run’s switch point is changed more than twenty-five (25) miles or if the starting time of a run changes from the night differential rate to the day or vice versa, the driver (provided he or she has been on the run for at least thirty (30) working days at the time of the change) may utilize the options in number 3 above. If the driver has been on the run for less than thirty (30) working days, the run shall be rebid at the time of the change. 6. Runs which are put up for bid will be identified by starting time and switch points. 7. Spare drivers will be assigned in accordance with past practice, except assignment will be made by District. 8. The Company, whenever possible, will give one (1) week’s notice of change of starting times or switch points on bid runs to the Shop Xxxxxxx or the Union office. 9. Feeder vacation selection will be made by District. 10. The Company, whenever possible, will adhere to the drivers scheduled bid.

Expedites are requests for intervals that are shorter than the interval defined in CenturyLink's Service Interval Guide (SIG) or Individual Case Basis (ICB) Due Dates. When expedites are approved, expedite charges apply per order for every day that the Due Date interval is shortened, based on the standard interval in the SIG or based on ICB criteria for Due Dates. Expedite charges apply to LIS trunk orders based on the rates described in Exhibit A. 7.3.5.2.1 CLEC will request an expedite for LIS trunks, including an expedited Due Date, on the Access Service Request (ASR). 7.3.5.2.2 The request for an expedite will be approved only when resources are available and the request meets the criteria outlined in the Pre- Approved Expedite Process in CenturyLink's Product Catalog at CenturyLink's wholesale web site. 7.3.5.3 Additional testing, including cooperative acceptance testing, automatic scheduled testing, cooperative scheduled testing, manual scheduled testing, and non- scheduled testing, is available for LIS trunks.

  • Miscellaneous Expenses Board members may seek reimbursement for other expenses incurred while attending a meeting sponsored by organizations described herein by fully describing the expenses on the expense form, attaching receipts.

  • Miscellaneous Costs 2.1.5.1 Where not included in the General Conditions, and with the prior approval of District, costs of document reproductions (photocopying and blueprinting expenses), long distance telephone call charges, postage, overnight and parcel delivery charges, telephone costs including cellular telephone charges, facsimile or other communication service at the Project site, job photos and progress schedules, and reasonable xxxxx cash expenses of the site office. Developer shall consult with District to determine whether District has any vendor relationships that could reduce the cost of these items and use such vendors whenever possible. 2.1.5.2 Sales, use, gross receipts, local business and similar taxes imposed by a governmental authority that are related to the Work. 2.1.5.3 Fees and assessments for permits, plan checks, licenses and inspections for which Developer is required by the Contract Documents to pay including, but not limited to, permanent utility connection charges, street use permit, street use rental, OSHA permit and sidewalk use permit and fees. 2.1.5.4 Fees of laboratories for tests required by the Contract Documents. 2.1.5.5 Deposits lost for causes other than Developer’s or its subcontractors’ negligence or failure to fulfill a specific responsibility to the District as set forth in the Contract Documents. 2.1.5.6 Expenses incurred in accordance with Developer’s standard personnel policy for relocation and temporary living allowances of personnel required for the Work if approved in advance by District. 2.1.5.7 Where requested by District, costs or expenses incurred by Developer in performing design services for the design-build systems. 2.1.5.8 Other costs incurred in the performance of the Work if, and to the extent, approved in advance by District. 2.1.5.9 Costs due to emergencies incurred in taking action to prevent threatened damage, injury or loss in case of an emergency affecting the safety of persons and/or property. 2.1.5.10 Provided all other eligible costs have been deducted from the contingency and as part of the calculation of amounts due Developer for Final Payment, costs of repairing and correcting damaged or non- conforming Work executed by Developer, Subcontractors or suppliers, providing that such damage or non-conforming Work was not caused by negligence or failure to fulfill a specific responsibility of Developer and only to the extent that the cost of repair or correction is not recovered by Developer from insurance, sureties, Subcontractors or suppliers.

  • Miscellaneous Leaves L31.1 Application for Miscellaneous Leave shall be made to the Executive Superintendent of Employee Services or designate. The Teacher shall notify the principal at the time the application is made and whenever possible shall make the application at least five days prior to the day for which the leave is requested.

  • Miscellaneous Leave Leave with or without pay may be granted for the following purposes subject to the criteria set out below being met. (a) Where a teacher is prevented from travelling from their home to work because of an emergency situation outside of the control of the teacher (up to seven (7) days leave with pay may be granted) provided that this provision is for emergencies only. Approval shall not be given where the teacher has advance notice or in circumstances where the teacher could be reasonably expected to have foreseen the situation arising. Where practicable the teacher is to inform the school of the reasons for the absence and is required to return to duty as soon as possible. Full details of the case shall be submitted.

  • Miscellaneous Powers The Trustees shall have the power to: (a) employ or contract with such Persons as the Trustees may deem desirable for the transaction of the business of the Trust; (b) enter into joint ventures, partnerships and any other combinations or associations; (c) purchase, and pay for out of Trust Property, insurance policies insuring the Shareholders, Trustees, officers, employees, agents, investment advisors, distributors, selected dealers or independent contractors of the Trust against all claims arising by reason of holding any such position or by reason of any action taken or omitted by any such Person in such capacity, whether or not constituting negligence, or whether or not the Trust would have the power to indemnify such Person against such liability; (d) establish pension, profit-sharing, share purchase, and other retirement, incentive and benefit plans for any Trustees, officers, employees and agents of the Trust; (e) make donations, irrespective of benefit to the Trust, for charitable, religious, educational, scientific, civic or similar purposes; (f) to the extent permitted by law, indemnify any Person with whom the Trust has dealings, including without limitation any advisor, administrator, manager, transfer agent, custodian, distributor or selected dealer, or any other person as the Trustees may see fit to such extent as the Trustees shall determine; (g) guarantee indebtedness or contractual obligations of others; (h) determine and change the fiscal year of the Trust and the method in which its accounts shall be kept; and (i) adopt a seal for the Trust but the absence of such seal shall not impair the validity of any instrument executed on behalf of the Trust.

  • Miscellaneous Provisions The following miscellaneous provisions are a part of this Agreement:

  • Miscellaneous Rules 1 The provisions of this Agreement shall not be construed to restrict in any manner any exclusion, exemption, deduction, credit, or other allowances now or hereafter accorded: (a) by the laws of a Contracting State in the determination of the tax imposed by that State; or (b) by any other agreement entered into by a Contracting State.
