NIGHT SHIFT PAY a. Employees who are assigned to night shift work or who are assigned to replace another employee on a night shift shall receive night shift differential pay if one- half or more of their work period is before eight a.m. or after three-thirty p.m. Night shift differential pay shall be seven and one-half percent (7.5%) of the employee’s standard daily or biweekly salary rate. b. Night shift differential pay shall not apply when time worked at night is overtime rather than an assigned night shift.

(2) Employees shall qualify for a swing shift pay differential of $.40 per hour when four or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift fall between 1800 and 0100 hours. (3) Employees shall qualify for a graveyard shift differential of $.65 per hour when four or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift fall between 2300 and 0600 hours. (4) A “regularly scheduled shift” are those regularly assigned work hours established by the Department head or his/her designee for the duration of at least one monthly period.
NIGHT SHIFT PAY. An Investigative Assistant who is assigned to work more than half their work period before eight a.m. or after five p.m. shall be entitled to a night shift differential of 7.5% of the employee’s standard daily or biweekly salary rate.

Effective July 1, 2008, the rates for night shift shall increase as follows: (1) Employees shall qualify for a swing shift pay differential of $1.00 per hour when four or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift fall between 1800 and 0100 hours. (2) Employees shall qualify for a graveyard differential of $1.50 per hour when four or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift fall between 2300 and 0600 hours.

  • Night Shift Employees who are required to work at least five-eighths of their normal daily tour of duty after 4:30 p.m. and before 8:00 a.m. shall be paid at the rate of five percent over and above his/her normal biweekly or hourly rate of pay for the entire shift so worked.

  • Night Shift Premium All hours worked by an employee between ten (10:00) p.m. and seven (7:00) a.m. shall be considered as shift work and paid for at the applicable straight time/overtime rate plus two ($2.00) dollars per hour shift premium for each full hour worked during this period. Night-shift premium shall not be added to the employee’s hourly rate of pay for the purpose of computing overtime pay.

  • Night Shift Differential Unit 12 employees who regularly work shifts shall receive a night shift differential as set forth below: A. Employees shall qualify for the first night shift pay differential of forty (40) cents per hour where four (4) or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift falls between 6 p.m. and 12 midnight. B. Employees shall qualify for the second night shift pay differential of fifty (50) cents per hour where four (4) or more hours of the regularly scheduled work shift fall between 12 midnight and 6 a.m. C. A "regularly scheduled work shift" are those regularly assigned work hours established by the department director or designee.

  • Night Premium For all time worked by employees, after 7 p.m. and before 7 a.m., by employees hired on or before August 5, 2005, a premium of twenty-five cents (25¢) per hour shall be paid.

  • Night Differential An employee shall be paid a night differential, bi-weekly for hours worked between midnight and 7:00 a.m. at a rate of $3.00 per hour. Night differential worked during overtime will be paid at one and one-half (1 ½) times $3.00 and on statutory holidays at two (2) times $3.00.

  • Shift Differential Pay SECTION 1: In addition to compensation provided by the wage schedule, employees working between the hours of 3:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M. shall be paid a shift differential premium of $.45 (forty-five cents) per hour in addition to the regular pay for those hours. SECTION 2: Employees must work a minimum of 3 (three) hours in order for shift differential to apply.

  • Shift and Weekend Premium (a) An employee shall be paid a shift premium of eighty-five cents (85¢) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500-0700 hours. (b) Effective July 1, 2013, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar ($1.00) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision.

  • Shift Differential A. Shift differential will be $.60 cents per hour. B. Employees eligible for shift differential are those whose work shift begins before 6:00 a.m. or ends on or after 7:00 p.m. and are scheduled by their supervisor for a total shift of at least six (6) hours in duration. This shift differential shall not apply to those employees who have requested and have been granted flexible work scheduling.

  • Shift Premium Full-Time and Part-Time Employees shall be paid a shift premium of one dollar ($1.00) per hour for all hours worked where the majority of their scheduled hours fall between 1500 and 0700 hours.

  • Shift Premiums (a) All employees who are required by the Employer to rotate over two (2) or more shifts shall receive a shift premium of thirty cents ($0.30) for each hour worked on the afternoon or evening shifts only. Shift premium will not be paid for any hour in which an employee receives overtime premium and shift premium will not form part of the employee's straight time hourly rate. (b) In no event shall there be any pyramiding of benefits or payments.
