NO STRIKES OR WORK STOPPAGES. 2.01 The CTA and the Board subscribe to the principle that differences shall be resolved by peaceful and appropriate means, without interruption of the school program. The CTA therefore agrees that there shall be no strikes, work stoppages or other concerted refusal to perform work by the members and no instigation by the CTA or its agents or representatives.
NO STRIKES OR WORK STOPPAGES. No Strike: During the period of this Agreement, the Union agrees that its members will not engage in nor will the Union authorize or condone a strike or stoppage of work, except as provided herein, and the Employer agrees not to engage in any lockouts.

The Union agrees that, during the term of this Agreement, or any extension thereof, neither it nor any of its officers, agents or members, nor any Employee, will authorize, instigate, aid, condone or engage in any strike, sympathy strike, work stoppage, picketing, sit down, slow down, or other stoppage, limitation or curtailment of work or take part in any picketing, boycotting or other interference with or demonstration against the Hospital, at any of its facilities or activities. Nothing in this section shall be construed to prohibit lawful informational picketing or hand billing. In the event that an Employee or agent of the Union violates the provisions of this Article, the Union shall: (1) declare publicly that such action is unauthorized; and,

(a) Recognizing that patient care is of paramount importance, and that the Residents have responsibility to render patient care as an integral part of their graduate medical education, the Union, including its representatives, stewards, attorneys and employees, and each Resident agree that they shall not instigate, plan, or participate in any strike or other work stoppage or work interruption, including, but not limited to, sympathy strikes, or any interference or interruption of work of any variety or kind, informational picketing, honoring picket lines of any other union, hand billing, bannering, boycotts, or slow-downs, either at the Hospital or at any other location within one thousand feet of the Hospital.

NO STRIKES OR WORK STOPPAGES. The Association Unit B on its own behalf and on behalf of each of the members of the Associa- tion Unit B that it represents, hereby agrees and covenants that it will not at any time, either while an agreement is in effect or until a successor agreement is reached, engage in, authorize, approve, participate or in any way encourage any strike work stoppage, slowdown, or the withholding of services, including reasonable extra-hour services, from the Superintendent, Stoughton School Committee and the Town of Stoughton. It is further agreed that any member of the Association Unit B covered by this Agreement who violates this provision or any part thereof will be disciplined forthwith and the matter of penalty shall not be arbitrated.
