NON-RESIDENT TUITION. Section 21.1 The Board shall give favorable consideration to a request from any non-resident Naugatuck administrator to send his/her child(ren) to Naugatuck Public Schools in grades Kindergarten through Grade 12, tuition free, up to the regular education tuition amount established by the Board of education each year. The decision to accept the non-resident child(ren) of an administrator will be at the discretion of the Superintendent of Schools based on enrollment and such decision will not be subject to the grievance procedure. Any decision to accept non- resident student(s) is subject to an annual review based on enrollment. Any additional tuition costs beyond the regular education tuition amount will be the responsibility of the administrator in accordance with the amount(s) established by the Board of Education each year.

NON-RESIDENT TUITION. The Committee agrees to permit children of Unit B members who are non resident in Westford to attend Westford Schools, provided that such attendance shall not require the Committee (pursuant to its own policies) to increase staff, and provided further that, if such children require special services under c. 766, the costs of such special services shall be paid by the Unit B member/parent. The child of a Unit B employee residing in Massachusetts who is seeking entry in a grade that has declared openings under the School Choice program will be subject to a lottery if there are more applications than declared School Choice seats. If a child of a Unit B employee (who resides in Massachusetts) is not accepted via the School Choice program, the child may still attend Westford Schools tuition free. A child of a Unit B employee who resides outside of Massachusetts, who is not eligible to attend under the School Choice program, will be allowed to attend Westford Schools tuition free. The Committee's refusal to grant such permission in a given instance shall not be subject to the grievance and arbitration provisions of the Agreement.
NON-RESIDENT TUITION. Non-resident tuition will be waived for the children of unit members up to the rate of State Aid reimbursement.

  • Resident Educator A Resident Educator is a teacher employed under a resident educator license.

  • DEPENDENT PERSONAL SERVICES 1. Subject to the provisions of Articles 16, 18 and 19, salaries, wages and other similar remuneration derived by a resident of a Contracting State in respect of an employment shall be taxable only in that State unless the employment is exercised in the other Contracting State. If the employment is so exercised, such remuneration as is derived therefrom may be taxed in that other State. 2. Notwithstanding the provisions of paragraph 1, remuneration derived by a resident of a Contracting State in respect of an employment exercised in the other Contracting State shall be taxable only in the first-mentioned State if: a) the recipient is present in the other State for a period or periods not exceeding in the aggregate 183 days in any twelve-month period commencing or ending in the tax year concerned, and b) the remuneration is paid by, or on behalf of, an employer who is not a resident of the other State, and c) the remuneration is not borne by a permanent establishment or a fixed base which the employer has in the other State. 3. Notwithstanding the preceding provisions of this Article, remuneration derived in respect of an employment exercised aboard a ship or aircraft operated in international traffic by a resident of a Contracting State, may be taxed in that State.

  • In-Service Education The parties recognize the value of in-service both to the employee and the Employer and shall encourage employees to participate in in-service. All employees scheduled by the Employer to attend in-service seminars shall receive regular wages.

  • Restricted Employment for Certain State Personnel Contractor acknowledges that, pursuant to Section 572.069 of the Texas Government Code, a former state officer or employee of a state agency who during the period of state service or employment participated on behalf of a state agency in a procurement or contract negotiation involving Contractor may not accept employment from Contractor before the second anniversary of the date the Contract is signed or the procurement is terminated or withdrawn.

  • Reporting of Total Compensation of Subrecipient Executives 1. Applicability and what to report. Unless you are exempt as provided in paragraph d. of this award term, for each first-tier subrecipient under this award, you shall report the names and total compensation of each of the subrecipient's five most highly compensated executives for the subrecipient's preceding completed fiscal year, if-- i. in the subrecipient's preceding fiscal year, the subrecipient received-- (A) 80 percent or more of its annual gross revenues from Federal procurement contracts (and subcontracts) and Federal financial assistance subject to the Transparency Act, as defined at 2 CFR 170.320 (and subawards); and (B) $25,000,000 or more in annual gross revenues from Federal procurement contracts (and subcontracts), and Federal financial assistance subject to the Transparency Act (and subawards); and ii. The public does not have access to information about the compensation of the executives through periodic reports filed under section 13(a) or 15(d) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (15 U.S.C. 78m(a), 78o(d)) or section 6104 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986. Where and when to report. You must report subrecipient executive total compensation described in paragraph c.1. of this award term: i. To the recipient. ii. By the end of the month following the month during which you make the subaward. For example, if a subaward is obligated on any date during the month of October of a given year (i.e., between October 1 and 31), you must report any required compensation information of the subrecipient by November 30 of that year.

  • Resident Educator Program The four-year program is designed to provide newly licensed Ohio educators quality mentoring and guidance. Successful completion of the residency program is required to advance to a five-year professional educator license.

  • Payments for Distribution Assistance and Administrative Support Services (a) Payments to the Distributor. In consideration of the payments made by the Fund to the Distributor under this Plan, the Distributor shall provide administrative support services and distribution services to the Fund. Such services include distribution assistance and administrative support services rendered in connection with Shares (1) sold in purchase transactions, (2) issued in exchange for shares of another investment company for which the Distributor serves as distributor or sub-distributor, or (3) issued pursuant to a plan of reorganization to which the Fund is a party. If the Board believes that the Distributor may not be rendering appropriate distribution assistance or administrative support services in connection with the sale of Shares, then the Distributor, at the request of the Board, shall provide the Board with a written report or other information to verify that the Distributor is providing appropriate services in this regard. For such services, the Fund will make the following payments to the Distributor:

The LMC will be to develop consistent, transparent and equitable proposals for processes across all departments within the City. The LMC shall also explore proposals to lower the minimum leave bank required to donate sick leave and permit donation of sick leave upon separation from the City. The LMC must consult with the Office of Civil Rights to ensure compliance with the City’s Race and Social Justice Initiative. Once the LMC has developed its list of proposals, the City and Coalition of City Unions agrees to reopen each contract on this subject.
