Nonresidential Social Resources. As described in the 2004 Draft EIS Appendix I, Social Resources Technical Memorandum, a number of other social resources would be affected by the project construction activities due to their proximity. These include community facilities, religious institutions, social and employment services, cultural and social institutions, and government institutions. The types of effects are well‐documented in the 2004 Draft EIS Appendix I. The specific social resources adjacent to the project corridor that would be affected under the updated Tunnel and Elevated Structure Alternatives are listed in Exhibit 6‐4. Exhibit 6-4.   • Corporate Social Responsibility The Parties affirm the importance of each Party encouraging enterprises operating within its Area or subject to its jurisdiction to voluntarily incorporate into their internal policies those internationally recognised standards, guidelines and principles of corporate social responsibility that have been endorsed or are supported by that Party.

  • Occupational Health & Safety Committee The parties agree to comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and any other federal, provincial or municipal health and safety legislation and regulations. Recognizing its responsibilities under the applicable legislation, the Employer agrees to accept as a member of its Occupational Health and Safety Committee, one representative selected or appointed by the Association from the bargaining unit. Such committee shall identify potential dangers and hazards, institute means of improving health and safety programs and recommend actions to be taken to improve conditions relating to occupational health and safety. Meetings shall be held every third month or more frequently if mutually agreed. The Committee shall maintain minutes of all meetings and make the same available for review.

  • Industrial Relations 4.1 The Unions agree that, provided the provisions of this Agreement are implemented, no stoppage of work shall occur.

  • Social Services For Applicants residing in a state NB is licensed, NB will conduct the home study and post-placement services. If the Applicant resides outside of NB's service area, NB, in cooperation with the Applicant, will select a Local Home Study Agency to conduct direct social services. The Applicant understands and consents to the professional exchange of their information between NB and the local home study agency.

  • Occupational Health and Safety Committee The Employer and the Union agree to cooperate in the promotion of safe working conditions, the prevention of accidents, the prevention of workplace injuries and the promotion of safe workplace practices.

  • Employee Health and Safety A. When the University requires an employee to use or wear health or safety equipment, such equipment will be provided by the University.

  • Occupational Health County and Union agree that the maintenance of employees' physical health is a basic component of satisfactory work performance, that an ongoing program of medical examination and review of medical conditions as it relates to performance of assigned duties will be developed, and that the parties shall meet and confer on development of this program and endeavor to reach agreement during the term of this Agreement.

  • Occupational Health and Safety Act The Employer, the Union and the employees agree to be bound by the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, S.N.S. 1996, c.7.
