Notary Compensation Sample Clauses

Notary Compensation. In January of each year, an “averaged” monthly notary volume figure will be calculated, taking the average of the least three (3) years' volume of notary services as evidenced in the City’s notary log book. In addition, a survey will be conducted of five (5) local real estate firms to confirm what the private sector "per signature" charges are for notary services. The "averaged" monthly volume figure will be multiplied by the "per signature" charge to determine the annual monthly service compensation which will be paid for notary work. The Finance Department will be directed to add one-half (1/2) of the monthly figure to each semi-monthly paycheck as compensation for these services.

Notary Compensation. ADDING A NOTARY INCENTIVE All active Notaries at Redwood Credit Union are entitled to Notary Incentive pay in the amount of $165 per quarter before taxes. In order to receive the incentive, the following conditions must apply: • The Notary must initiate the request with their Manager. • Must be in an Active status (not on a Leave of Absence or longevity) for at least 2 full calendar months out of the quarter for which payment is to be received. • The Notary must have all notarization supplies and be actively performing notarizations for the entire quarter in which they receive payment. • Maintain their Notary Public Commission for the entire quarter. If the employee is unable to perform notary services for 2 of the 3 full calendar months such as due to an expired notary commission, the employee is not eligible for the notary incentive. To sign up a Notary for the Notary incentive, please follow these steps: • Have the Notary sign the RCU Notary Management Procedures and send the agreement along with a copy of their Notary Commission to Employee Relations. • Submit a Payroll Change Notice to add the Notary incentive (Use the “other” category and list Notary Incentive $165.00).
