Notice of Lay-Off or Restructuring. The Employer where possible shall give the union sixty (60) days notice in writing in the event the Employer is contemplating or planning reductions and/or closure of programs, services, or supports; layoffs that exceed one (1) week; restructuring; or any other initiative that would impact the work of the bargaining unit and/or job security of bargaining unit members. Should the above sixty (60) days notice not be possible the employer shall notify the Union as soon as it is possible. The Union shall be notified prior to other bargaining unit employees. The Employer shall meet with the Union within five (5) working days of the written notice at which time the Employer shall fully disclose to the Union any and all plans for reductions and/or closure of programs, services, or supports; layoffs; restructuring; or any other initiative that would impact the job security of bargaining unit members. The above clause does not cover a short term layoff over the Christmas period. In this case, the employer will give the union as much notice as possible.

  • Notice of Lay-off All regular employees shall be given in writing the following notice of lay-off or salary in lieu of notice:

  • Notice of Layoffs The County shall give reasonable notice to the Association before effecting any layoffs which materially affect employees represented under this Memorandum of Understanding. Upon receiving such notice, the Association may meet and confer regarding the effect of the layoff.

  • Notice to Proceed - Land Acquisition The acquisition of the Land shall not occur until the Director has issued a written Notice to Proceed for land acquisition to the Recipient (the "Notice to Proceed"). Such Notice to Proceed will not be issued until the Director has received a Request to Proceed acceptable to the Director and is assured that the Recipient has complied with all requirements for the approval of a grant under Revised Code Sections 164.20 through 164.27 and any requirements for land acquisition set forth in this Agreement, including without limitation the OPWC's approval of the proposed Deed Restrictions and Title Agent. The Notice to Proceed also shall specify the time frame for the Closing.

  • Advance Notice of Lay-Off In the case of lay off, the Employer shall notify all permanent employees who are about to be laid off twenty (20) working days prior to the effective date of lay off. If the employee, in such case, has not had the opportunity to work twenty (20) full days after notice of lay off, the employee shall be paid in lieu of work for that part of twenty (20) days during which work was not made available.

  • Extension for Foreclosure Proceedings If (a) it is necessary for the Financing Provider to have possession of the Project (as defined in the Assigned Agreement) in order for Financing Provider to cure an Event of Default which is Capable of Being Cured, as defined in Section 3.2(b), and (b) Financing Provider commences foreclosure proceedings against Seller within thirty (30) calendar days of receiving Notice of an Event of Default from PG&E or Seller, whichever is received first, then Financing Provider shall be allowed an additional period to complete such foreclosure proceedings, such period not to exceed ninety (90) calendar days; provided, however, that Financing Provider shall provide a Notice to PG&E that it intends to commence foreclosure proceedings with respect to Seller within ten (10) calendar days of receiving a Notice of such Event of Default from PG&E or Seller, whichever is received first. In the event Financing Provider or its designated Permitted Transferee succeeds to Seller’s interest in the Project as a result of foreclosure proceedings, the Financing Provider or Permitted Transferee shall be subject to the requirements of Section 3 of this Consent and Agreement.

  • NOTICE OF DELAYS Except as otherwise provided under this Contract, when either party has knowledge that any actual or potential situation is delaying or threatens to delay the timely performance of this Contract, that party shall, within one (1) business day, give notice thereof, including all relevant information with respect thereto, to the other party.
