Notification of Absence. 10.2.3.1 When a teacher knows more than thirty (30) days in advance of his/her impending long term absence, the teacher shall notify his/her principal or immediate supervisor of his/her expected first day of absence, at least thirty (30) days in advance of that date. 10.2.3.2 When a teacher knows fewer than thirty (30) days in advance of his/her impending long term absence, the teacher shall notify his/her principal or supervisor of his/her expected first day of absence within two (2) days after becoming aware that an impending absence will occur.
