Notification of Employee and Union. Where an Employee is disciplined, suspended or discharged, the Employer shall notify the Union and the employee in writing on the same day. The notice shall include the reason for the discipline, suspension or discharge.

Notification of Employee and Union. (a) Where an Employee is suspended without pay or discharged, the Employer shall, within ten (10) working days of the suspension or discharge, notify the Employee in writing stating the reason for the suspension or discharge. Should the Employee or the Union require specifics as to the contents of the discipline letter, the Employee or Union may request additional information from the Employer.
