Online Banking Alerts. We provide voluntary Account Alerts.
1. Account Alerts must be activated by you. o Account Alerts allow you to choose alert messages for your accounts. We may add new alerts from time to time. o Each alert has different options available, and you will be asked to select from among these options upon activation of your alerts service.
2. Account Alerts are subject to the following. o Electronic alerts will be sent to the email address you have provided as your primary email address for Online Banking. If your email address changes, you are responsible for informing us of that change. You can also choose to have alerts sent to a secondary email address. Changes to your primary and secondary email addresses will apply to all of your alerts. o You understand and agree that your alerts may be delayed or prevented by a variety of factors. We do our best to provide alerts in a timely manner with accurate information. We neither guarantee the delivery nor the accuracy of the contents of any alert. You also agree that we shall not be liable for any delays, failure to deliver, or misdirected delivery of any alert; for any errors in the content of an alert; or for any actions taken or not taken by you or any third party in reliance of an alert. o Because alerts are not encrypted, we will never include your Password or full account number. However, alerts may include your name and some information about your accounts. Depending upon which alerts you select, information such as your account balance or the due date for your loan payment may be included. Anyone with access to your email will be able to view the contents of these alerts.
Online Banking Alerts. We provide three types of Online Banking Alerts:
1. General and Security Alerts are sent to you following important account activities or when certain changes are made online to your Online Banking account, such as a change in your email or home address, telephone number, Online ID or password, insufficient funds, or irregular card activity. You do not need to activate these alerts. We automatically activate them for you. Although you have the option to suppress these General & Security Alerts, we strongly recommend that you do not do so since they provide important information related to your online security or account activities.
2. Account Alerts, which must be activated by you. o Account Alerts allow you to choose optional alert messages for your accounts. o Each Account Alert has different options available, and you will be asked to select from among these options upon activation of an Account Alert.
3. Automatic Alerts are sent to your primary email address only and provide you with important account notifications, such as information about a money transfer or availability of an eStatement. o You do not have the option to suppress these Automatic Alerts. Alerts are subject to the following: We may add new Alerts from time to time, or cancel old alerts. We usually notify you when we cancel alerts, but are not obligated to do so. Alerts will be sent to the email address you have provided as your primary email address for Online Banking. For General and Security and Account Alerts, you can also choose to have these sent to a secondary email address, a mobile device that accepts text messages, or a mobile device that can receive our Mobile Banking App Alerts through a push notification system. If your email address or your mobile device's number changes, you are responsible for informing us of that change. While 1st Capital Bank does not charge for the delivery of the alerts, please be advised that text or data charges or rates may be imposed by your carrier. Your alerts will be updated to reflect the changes that you communicate to us with regard to your primary and secondary email addresses or mobile device number. We do our best to provide alerts in a timely manner with accurate information, but alerts may be delayed or prevented by a variety of factors beyond our control (such as system failures or misdirected delivery). Each alert has different options available, and you will be asked to select from these options upon activation of your alert services. Electronic alerts will be sent to the email address you have provided as your primary email address for Online Banking. If you change your email address you are responsible for informing us of the change. You understand and agree that your alerts may be delayed or prevented by a variety of factors. We neither guarantee nor warrant the delivery nor the accuracy of the contents of any alert. You also agree that we shall not be liable for any delays, failure to deliver, or misdirected delivery of any alert; for any errors in the content of an alert; or for any actions taken or not taken by you or any third party in reliance of an alert.
Online Banking Alerts. When certain changes are made to the Account(s) Client has set up in Online Banking, Bank will automatically send Administrator (or, as directed by Administrator, to an Authorized User) an account alert letting Client know the change was made. Client shall contact Bank immediately if the change(s) was not authorized by Client. Additionally, some of the Services give Client the option to set up, or change from time-to-time, one or more categories of information to receive voluntary account alerts from Bank. SHOULD CLIENT NOT ELECT TO UTILIZE THE ACCOUNT ALERTS OFFERED BY BANK, CLIENT UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES THAT BANK OFFERED A MORE STRINGENT SECURITY PROCEDURE AND CLIENT DECLINED THAT SECURITY PROCEDURE. AS SUCH, CLIENT EXPRESSLY AGREES TO BE BOUND BY ANY TRANSACTION, WHETHER OR NOT AUTHORIZED, ISSUED IN CLIENT’S NAME AND ACCEPTED BY BANK IN COMPLIANCE WITH THIS SECURITY PROCEDURE CHOSEN BY CLIENT, AND CLIENT UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES THAT BANK WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY ERRORS OR LOSSES RESULTING FROM ANY ERRORS IN OR CHANGES TO ANY TRANSACTION INFORMATION PROVIDED BY CLIENT TO BANK.
