ONTARIO GLAZIERS APPRENTICESHIP AND TRAINING COMMITTEE. 31.01 Each Employer shall remit in accordance with Article 14, Payments to Trust Funds, Administration Dues and Union Dues, twenty-seven cents ($0.27) per hour for each hour worked by each Employee covered by this Agreement on their behalf, to the Finishing Trades Institute (FTI) Trust Fund and such Contributions shall be placed into a segregated account for Xxxxxxx Training and not co-mingled with Painter Contributions. Effective June 1, 2013 the contribution rate will be thirty-one cents ($0.31) for every hour worked. Effective May 1, 2014 the contribution rate will be thirty-four cents ($0.34) for every hour worked. Effective May 1, 2015 and for the balance of the life of this Agreement, the contribution rate will be thirty-seven cents ($0.37) for every hour worked.

ONTARIO GLAZIERS APPRENTICESHIP AND TRAINING COMMITTEE. 30.01 (a) Effective June 22, 1995, each Employer shall remit in accordance with Article 13, Payment of Welfare and Other Fund Contributions, Administration and Union Dues, ten cents ($0.10) per hour for each hour worked by each employee covered by this Agreement to a fund known as the “Ontario Glaziers Apprenticeship and Training Committee (OGATC)". Effective May 1, 1999, the contribution rate will be fifteen cents ($0.15) per hour for every hour worked. Effective May 1, 2000, and for the balance of the life of this Agreement, the contribution rate will be twenty cents ($0.20) per hour for every hour worked.

  • Apprenticeship and Training It is agreed that all Employers covered by this Agreement shall contribute a sum as listed in Schedule "A" herein for each compensable man-hour of Carpenters, including supervisory employees when covered by this Agreement. Said contribution shall be made to xxx Xxxxxxxxxx- Employers Apprenticeship and Training Trust Fund of Washington-Idaho the manner as set forth in the Trust Agreement of said Trust. The details of such Apprenticeship and Training Plan established by this Trust Fund and this Trust Fund itself shall continue to be controlled and administered by a Joint Board of Trustees composed of equal representation of labor and management who are signators to the Trust Agreement of the aforesaid Trust Fund. Each Trustee appointed by the Union shall be a member of the Union and employed by the Union and each Management trustee shall be a salaried executive or officer of a signatory Employer, or an employee of an Employer association, on behalf of its member employers.

  • Apprenticeship Training The enterprise agrees to work with the union to improve apprenticeship training and the number of apprentices in training.

  • Apprenticeships 20.1 The parties are committed to providing increased employment opportunities for apprentices and trainees through an effective manufacturing industry policy and an increase in apprenticeship places in the TAFE system.

  • APPRENTICESHIP COMMITTEE The central parties agree that within sixty (60) days of the commencement of this agreement, a joint local committee consisting of up to three representatives each will be formed to discuss the feasibility of establishing an apprenticeship program(s). If such a program is deemed feasible, the local parties will determine the terms and conditions of such program(s). The joint local committee will seek the availability of any federal or provincial funds to cover the costs of such programs.

  • Apprenticeship Program 62. The parties agree to meet to discuss the development of mutually agreeable apprenticeship programs. The specific provisions of the apprenticeship programs shall be subject to agreement between the City, the Civil Service Commission (where appropriate), and the Union. Each apprenticeship program, however, shall contain at least the following terms:

  • Health & Safety Committee The Employer agrees to establish a Health & Safety Committee for all employees of the company under the auspices of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). The Committee shall be made up of an equal number (not less than one each) of non-bargaining unit and bargaining unit persons who have completed their probationary period. The Union has the right to appoint the members representing the bargaining unit. The Committee shall keep minutes of its meetings and post them in the shop. One copy will be forwarded to the Union office.

  • Occupational Health & Safety Committee The parties agree to comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and any other federal, provincial or municipal health and safety legislation and regulations. Recognizing its responsibilities under the applicable legislation, the Employer agrees to accept as a member of its Occupational Health and Safety Committee, one representative selected or appointed by the Association from the bargaining unit. Such committee shall identify potential dangers and hazards, institute means of improving health and safety programs and recommend actions to be taken to improve conditions relating to occupational health and safety. Meetings shall be held every third month or more frequently if mutually agreed. The Committee shall maintain minutes of all meetings and make the same available for review.

  • Health and Safety Committee Where required a committee will be formed and will meet where required by the Employer’s safety policies and by statute.

  • Apprenticeship Requirements The Contractor shall comply with Section 230.1(A), California Code of Regulations as required by the Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Apprenticeship Standards by submitting DAS Form to the Joint Apprenticeship Committee of the craft or trade in the area of the site.

  • JOINT APPRENTICESHIP COMMITTEE There is hereby established a Joint Apprenticeship Committee as defined in paragraph (c) hereof. This Committee shall be composed of four (4) members, two (2) representing the Company and two (2) Journeymen/women employees representing the Union. The Chairperson shall be the Supervisor of Apprentices. The Committee shall meet once a month unless otherwise agreed. It shall be the duty of the Committee:
