Oral Interview Board. (a) Oral Interview Board (1) Board member shall be a lieutenant from the Department; one (1) Board member shall be an apparatus operator from the Department; one (1) Board member shall be a firefighter from the Department; and one (1) Board member shall be an Executive Board Member of the Association. Once the oral interview process begins, only the assigned Board members may be used throughout the process, unless a member must be excused. In the event an assigned Oral Interview Board Member must be excused, the member will be replaced; however, the Board shall retain the required makeup as defined above.

Oral Interview Board. (a) Oral Interview Board (1) Board member shall be one active duty member of the fire department of any rank selected by the Fire Chief; one (1) Board member shall be a battalion chief from the Department; one (1) Board member shall be a lieutenant from the Department; one (1) Board member shall be an apparatus operator from the Department; one (1) Board member shall be a firefighter from the Department; and one (1) Board member shall be an Executive Board Member of the Association. (1) Board member shall be selected from the command staff; (1) Board member shall be an active duty member of the Fire Department of any rank; (1) Board member shall be a Battalion Chief from the Department; (1) Board member shall be a Company Officer from the Department;  one (1) Board member shall be an Apparatus Operator from the Department;  one (1) Board member shall be a Firefighter from the Department; and  one (1) Board member shall be an Executive Board Member of the Association selected by the Association. Once the oral interview process begins, only the assigned Board members may be used throughout the process, unless a member must be excused. In the event an assigned Oral Interview Board Member must be excused, the member will be replaced; however, the Board shall retain the required makeup as defined above. If one of the seven (7) Board members cannot be filled because of availability, the Department Head shall choose a replacement. The Department Head shall select a replacement that is representative of the above- described interview board member makeup. If a like position is unavailable, the replacement shall be an active-duty member of the Fire Department of any rank. If there are any disagreements during the interview process, those disagreements will be brought to the Department Head for a final decision.

  • Interviewing Opportunity A representative of the Union or Xxxxxxx shall be given an opportunity to interview each new Employee within regular working hours, without loss of pay, for a maximum of thirty (30) minutes during the first month of employment for the purpose of acquainting the new Employee with the benefits and duties of Union membership and its responsibilities and obligations to the Employer and the Union.

  • PRE-JOB CONFERENCE a) The Employer shall notify the union that a project has been awarded to the Employer following the award. Prior to the start of each project, a pre-job conference shall be held to determine all site-specific issues as outlined in the Agreement. This conference may be conducted via telephone, through a scheduled meeting or by some other practical means as agreed to by the parties. b) A copy of the pre-job conference report shall be provided to the Employer, the Union and the Job Xxxxxxx (s). A copy shall also be posted on the bulletin board(s) at the jobsite.

  • Submitting Investigator An investigator who submitted a genomic dataset to an NIH designated data repository (e.g., dbGaP).

  • Interview Period It is agreed that upon commencement of employment new employees will be advised by a representative of the Hospital of the existence of the Union and the conditions surrounding their employment as contained in the herein collective agreement and any rules that may be formulated under its terms. It is also agreed that a representative of the union will be given an opportunity to interview each employee once within the completing month of his/her probationary period for the purpose of ascertaining the wishes of the employee concerning membership in the Union. Such interview may take place on the day of orientation. The Hospital will notify the Union monthly of the names of those employees who are completing their probationary period and on request will arrange a time and place for such interview that time of which shall not exceed 15 minutes. Neither employee shall suffer loss of regular pay as a result of such interview.

  • Faculty Meetings Principals shall have the authority to schedule necessary faculty meetings; however, such meetings shall be as brief and well planned as possible. Such meetings shall be used for purposes that cannot be accomplished effectively through other means. Faculty meetings shall be scheduled in a manner that impacts teacher planning time to the least degree possible. If more than one faculty meeting is held in a month, the purpose of the meeting shall be announced to the faculty in advance.

  • Professional Meetings Employees should be encouraged to and may, with the approval of the supervisor, attend professional meetings, conferences, and activities. Subject to the availability of funds, the employee's expenses in connection with such meetings, conferences, or activities shall be reimbursed in accordance with the applicable provisions of State law and university rules.

The Board previously established qualifications for the appointee in a careful and thoughtful manner.
