Ordinary Hours Monday to Friday. An Employee recalled to work is paid a minimum of three (3) hours at the rate applicable to the day, but shall not be obliged to work for three (3) hours if the work for which the Employee has been brought on duty does not last that period.

Ordinary Hours Monday to Friday. 7.1.1 The ordinary hours of work for full-time Employees are up to eight (8) hours per day, and an average of 38 per week, worked from Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. The ordinary hours of work for part-time Employees are less than 38 per week. 7.1.2 The ordinary hours of duty for casual Employees are eight (8) hours per day, worked from Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m. 7.1.3 With respect of clause 7.1.1 and 7.1.2 above, pursuant to clause 33.1 (viii) of the Building and Construction General On-Site Award 2010, the ordinary working day may start at 6.00 a.m. The change to the start time requires an agreement between the Company and the Employee(s) and their representative(s) if required.

Where a change to the fixed daily ordinary hours of work are necessary, the provisions of clause 7.1.5 shall apply. 7.1.5 Ordinary working hours may be established by agreement between the Company and the majority of Employees in the business or part of the business concerned in accordance with the provisions of the Hours of Work clause in this Agreement. 7.1.6 The matters on which agreement may be reached include: • How the hours are to be averaged within a work cycle established in accordance with this clause; • The duration of the work cycle for Employees provided that such duration does not exceed four weeks; • Rosters which specify the starting and finishing times of working hours; Kilmac Civil Pty Ltd Enterprise Agreement 2023-2026 Any change to ordinary working hours made under clauses 7.1.4, 7.1.5, 7.1.6 and / or 7.1.7of this Agreement must be within the confines of that which is prescribed by clause 7.1.1 of this Agreement. 7.1.7 This does not preclude the Company reaching agreement with individual Employees about how their working hours are to be averaged in accordance with this clause.

  • Holiday Falling on Saturday or Sunday For an employee whose normal workweek is from Monday to Friday and when any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday will be deemed to be the holiday. When a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on another day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies), will be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday. (b) When the employee is scheduled off on a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to schedule the employee off the paid holiday. (c) In the event of a scheduling conflict, 12.07 (a) will be the deciding provision.

  • Payment for Working on a Holiday (The following clause is applicable to full-time employees only)

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An Employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double time and one-half (2½) for hours worked, plus a day off subject to this Agreement.
