Other openings. Any employee who meets the minimum qualifications as outlined in the job posting for an open job requisition shall be moved into the open position by seniority. Should there be no qualified internal candidates the company may hire an external applicant. The word employee in this provision also includes all laid off employees with recall rights.

Other openings. Positions that come open after the end of the academic school year and during the summer through the thirty-first calendar day prior to the first contract day for unit members, will first be offered to any teachers who have rehire rights resulting from a District reduction in force. After such offers have been made, the District may post for the vacancy internally and externally simultaneously, with first consideration being provided to current employees. All qualified internal transfer candidates, as defined in Article 17.A.5.a will be offered the opportunity to interview, unless the internal transfer candidate: (a) is on an improvement plan; (b) has two or more of the six (6) California Standards for the Teaching Profession marked as “needs improvement” or “unsatisfactory” in his/her most recent evaluation; (c) has two or more of the six (6) California Standards for the Teaching Profession marked as “unsatisfactory” as a result of observations conducted during the employee’s most recent evaluation cycle; or (d) has applied for a transfer to that site and been interviewed and not selected for a transfer two or more times within the past 5 school years. The posting will be for five (5) workdays. Teachers interested in the opening should apply to the Human Resources Department by the closing date of the posting. The District, after consulting with the Department Chairperson (if they are available), based on the criteria listed in Article 17.A.5 will decide if the teacher receives the position. The District must be able to articulate the reason(s) when someone is not given the position.   • Other Operations The General Partner and its Affiliates shall at all times be free to engage in all aspects of the oil, gas and natural resources business for their own accounts and for the accounts of others. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the General Partner and its Affiliates shall have the right to organize and operate other partnerships, joint ventures or other oil and gas investment programs similar to the Limited Partnership or the Production Partnership.

  • Job Openings The District shall be considered to be engaged in the procedure to fill the position on the posting date of the position(s). Posting shall occur within fifteen (15) working days after Executive Vice Chancellor of Human Resources approval. If the District is unable to post the position within fifteen (15) days or fill the position within the ninety (90) day period, the District will meet and confer with CSEA. Substitute employees may not work more than ninety (90) calendar days in a substitute assignment while the District is engaged in a procedure to fill the vacant permanent position. This does not preclude existing unit employees from applying for openings per Article 17.2.2. All new openings shall be internally advertised. 17.5.2 A permanent unit employee who acquires probationary status as the result of job openings or recruitment shall retain permanent status in his former classification until completion of the probationary period in the new classification. In the event that the probationary period in the new classification is not successful, the employee shall revert to his former classification with all the previous rights and privileges. 17.5.3 Unit employee applicants shall be furnished notification of time and date of scheduled interviews a minimum of five (5) days prior to such interviews. 17.5.4 Job openings - Unit employees hired into permanent positions must meet minimum qualifications. 17.5.5 Short-term or substitute employees must meet the minimum qualifications for the classification under which they are employed.

  • Other Activities/Renovations A. The Contractor acknowledges its responsibility to assure the Judicial Council’s quiet enjoyment of the Program and to provide the full service level of the Property for the Program, free from outside distractions, disturbances, and/or interruptions. The Contractor shall avoid assigning any rooms to the Judicial Council or the Attendees during the Program which are adjacent to or across from any group or activity that may generate noise or other distractions, such as construction or other conduct, sufficient to detract from quiet enjoyment of the Program on the Property. B. Additionally, the Contractor shall notify the Judicial Council of any actual or contemplated renovations or other construction that will or may occur on or adjacent to the Property during the Program, no later than fourteen (14) Days from the time the Contractor learns of such renovation or construction activity. C. For any disturbance, renovation, or construction activity that is potentially or actually inconvenient or disruptive to the Program, upon the Judicial Council’s request, the Contractor shall: i. Immediately cause such disturbance to cease, if possible, or suspend or minimize construction or renovation on the Property, if necessary, in order to maintain a proper environment for the Program; and/or ii. Immediately provide equivalent alternate space on the Property, satisfactory to the Program Manager, conducive to conducting the Program in a proper environment. D. If the Contractor is unable to comply with the conditions set forth in this provision, the Judicial Council may terminate the Agreement pursuant to the termination for cause provision set forth herein.

  • Parking Facilities The parking facilities appurtenant to the Building include asphalt surface parking for visitor parking and a separate parking structure for monthly parking (“Parking Structure”). Tenant shall be entitled to use commencing on the earlier of the Commencement Date or Tenant’s occupancy of the Premises, eight (8) vehicle parking spaces within the Parking Structure for the monthly parking of Tenant’s employees. Two of such parking spaces shall be for parking in the reserved covered portion of the Parking Structure, four (4) of such parking spaces shall be for parking in the unreserved covered portion of the Parking Structure, and the remaining two (2) parking spaces shall be for parking in the unreserved rooftop, uncovered portion of the Parking Structure. Tenant’s use of the Parking Structure shall be based upon a non-exclusive use in common with Landlord, other tenants of the Building, and their guests and invitees. Tenant shall not use more parking spaces than said number, or any spaces (a) which have been specifically assigned by Landlord to other tenants or for such other uses as visitor parking or (b) which have been designated by governmental entities of competent jurisdiction as being restricted to certain uses. Landlord reserves the right to erect such security and access and egress control devices as it may reasonably deem to be appropriate (including, without limitation card controlled gates) and Tenant agrees to cooperate fully with Landlord in such matters. Tenant shall not permit or allow any vehicles that belong to or are controlled by Tenant or Tenant’s employees, suppliers, shippers, customers, or invitees to be loaded, unloaded, or parked in areas other than those designated by Landlord for such activities. If Tenant permits or allows any of such prohibited activities, then Landlord shall have the right, without notice, in addition to such other rights and remedies that it may have, to remove or tow away the vehicle involved and charge the cost to Tenant, which cost shall be immediately payable upon demand by Landlord.

  • Catering Cafeteria style of serving meals will be acceptable, providing dishes are carried back by the Culinary Staff. The food shall be of good quality and have the approval of the Camp Committee of the Building and Construction Trades Council of Ontario. There shall be sufficient housekeeping staff supplied by the Culinary Workers to keep the bunkhouses clean, and beds shall be made up each day by such staff. Kitchen facilities, equipment and food supplies shall be subject to inspection by the duly authorized Camp Committee at any and all times and further all grievances shall be dealt with by said Committee.

  • Dewatering (a) Where the whole of a site is so affected by surface water following a period of rain that all productive work is suspended by agreement of the Parties, then dewatering shall proceed as above with Employees so engaged being paid at penalty rates as is the case for safety rectification work. This work is typically performed by Employees engaged within CW1, CW2 or CW3 classifications. When other Employees are undertaking productive work in an area or areas not so affected then dewatering will only attract single time rates. (b) Where a part of a site is affected by surface water following a period of rain, thus rendering some areas unsafe for productive work, consistent with the Employer’s obligations under the OH&S Act, appropriate Employees shall assist in the tidying up of their own work site or area if it is so affected. Where required, appropriate Employees will be provided with the appropriate PPE. Such work to be paid at single time rates. Productive work will continue in areas not so affected. (c) To avoid any confusion any ‘dewatering’ time which prevents an Employee from being engaged in their normal productive work is not included in any calculation for the purposes of determining whether an Employee is entitled to go home due to wet weather (refer clauses 32.4 and 32.5)

  • Other Officers Such other officers as the Board of Directors may choose shall perform such duties and have such powers as from time to time may be assigned to them by the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors may delegate to any other officer of the Corporation the power to choose such other officers and to prescribe their respective duties and powers.
