Outside Commitments Sample Clauses

Outside Commitments. Employment by the College must be regarded as a full-time profession which demands the full interest and energies of a faculty member; therefore, any outside commitment must not interfere with the performance of the regular duties of the faculty member or adversely affect proficiency. Any outside commitment which would conflict with a faculty member's contractual obligations to the College shall be avoided. Within this limitation, faculty members are encouraged to participate in community service and related activities.
Outside Commitments. Full-time employment by the College requires professional commitment from faculty members. Therefore, although outside employment and other outside commitments are at the discretion of the faculty member, such employment or commitments must not interfere or conflict with a faculty member's performance of contractual obligations.
Outside Commitments. It is acknowledged that a full-time teaching faculty position at the College requires excellence in performance. Therefore, any outside commitment which would adversely affect a faculty member's proficiency, performance of regular duties or contractual obligations in any way is prohibited. Any outside employment engaged in may not constitute nor appear to constitute a conflict of interest with the faculty member's responsibilities to the College. Insofar as these contractual obligations are not violated, faculty members are encouraged to participate in community service and related activities.
Outside Commitments. The senior year clinical teaching residency requires time and commitment. We want you to share your best self with your mentor teacher and students every day that you are with them. In order to share your best self everyday and focus on the needs in your assigned classroom, you must show up Ready2Teach and learn. Balancing and managing your time effectively will assist you in accomplishing both of these goals.
Outside Commitments. Work or family/personal commitments cannot be excuses for failing to meet the commitments of the Clinical Teaching Semester. If commitments become problematic in terms of attendance and performance, the candidate will be given the choice of withdrawing from their Clinical Teaching Semester or making the personal adjustments necessary to give full attention to the program. Candidates with family/personal commitments should make these commitments known to the Office of Teacher Education and Clinical Practice as early as possible.
Outside CommitmentsThe Officer shall not be constrained from ------------------- continuation of limited outside business commitments so long as such commitments do not interfere or conflict with the performance of his duties as Chief Operating Officer of the Company. It is recognized that the Officer currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of certain subsidiaries of Coyote Sports, Inc. which are not deemed to be outside commitments. Any outside business activities which involve remuneration to the Officer, shall require the prior approval of the Board of Directors. It is recognized that the Officer currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Staodyn, Inc., a publicly traded company based in Longmont, CO. A prior commitment exists to serve as a Board Member for a private company based in Redwood City, California. Any additional outside business activities which involve remuneration to the Officer, shall require the prior approval of the Board of Directors. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld so long as the outside commitment does not conflict with the Officer's responsibilities to the Company.
Outside Commitments. The parties understand and agree that, following the Transition Period, Kirkxxxxxxx xxxects to be engaged in outside activities with time commitments that may conflict with his ability to consult in accordance with Paragraph 3. Specifically, the Company acknowledges and agrees that Kirkxxxxxxx xxx spend up to four consecutive weeks on the East Coast of the United States, during which time he may be available to the Company only by telephone; Kirkxxxxxxx xxxees to schedule this absence so as to minimize the conflict with his consulting obligations regarding the first monthly sales release, the first quarterly earnings release and the first quarterly filing on Form 10-Q following the Transition Period; in addition, Kirkxxxxxxx xxxees to make himself reasonably available to the Company and to use his good faith in scheduling conflicting commitments so as not to undermine his consulting obligations hereunder.
Outside Commitments. Crane represents and agrees that he shall not accept employment by or serve as a consultant to, any person other than the Company except to the extent that such activities do not exceed 10% of his 1 business time, do not materially interfere with his ability to perform his duties for the Company, and are not competitive with the business of the Company.
