Common use of Overtime for Part Clause in Contracts

Overtime for Part. TIME EMPLOYEES Part time employees are eligible for overtime compensation when they are required to work more than seven (7) hours in a day. Except for employees on a rotating shift, which requires more than five (5) consecutive days of work, part time employees required to work in excess of five (5) days in a week, are eligible for overtime compensation for all work performed in the sixth (6th) and seventh (7th) days. Overtime rates as defined in 16.05 (b)17.01 (d) shall apply for all work performed on general holidays.
