BANKING OF VACATION CREDITS. With the immediate Supervisor's approval, regular employees will be permitted to bank up to five (5) days of vacation per year accumulated to a maximum of fifteen (15) days, consistent with efficient staffing requirements and take it in the subsequent vacation year at a mutually agreeable time between the employee and supervisor.

BANKING OF VACATION CREDITS. (a) Upon approval of a written request, the employee with up to four (4) years service shall be entitled to carry over a maximum of one (1) week* of annual vacation and after completion of four (4) years service and thereafter may carry over a maximum of two (2) weeks* of annual vacation.

  • Borrowing of Unearned Vacation Credits With the approval of the Employer, an Employee who has been employed for a period of five (5) or more years may be granted five (5) days from the vacation leave of the next subsequent year.

  • Vacation Credits All employees shall participate in the County’s Terminal Pay Plan (Plan). However, only the terminal paychecks (including unused vacation) of those employees who have reached the age of fifty-five (55) shall be placed into the Plan. These terminal paychecks shall be placed into the Plan on a pre-tax basis in accordance with the Plan, all applicable laws and all rules and regulations applicable to the Plan.

  • Granting of Vacation Leave 18.02 (1) In granting vacation leave with pay to an employee, the Employer shall make every reasonable effort:

  • Vacation Credit Any outstanding vacation entitlement for a person going on LTD will be paid in cash upon expiry of sick leave.   • Accumulation of Vacation Leave Credits 31.1.1 An employee shall earn in respect of each fiscal year, annual vacation leave with pay at the following rates for each calendar month in which the employee receives at least seventy-five (75) hours’ pay:

  • Accrual Rate of Sick Leave With Pay Credits Full-time employees shall accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave with pay credits for each full month worked. Employees who work less than the full month but at least thirty-two (32) hours during the month shall accrue sick leave with pay on a pro rata basis for the month.

  • Banked Vacation Once every five years an employee may bank one full year's vacation to be taken in conjunction with the next year's vacation. For the purposes of this clause, all vacation in the second year must be taken concurrently.

  • Scheduling of Vacation Leave In scheduling vacation leave with pay for an employee the Employer shall, subject to the operational requirements of the service, make every reasonable effort to comply with the employee's wishes.

  • Entitlement to Vacation Leave With Pay An employee is entitled to vacation leave with pay to the extent of his earned credits but an employee who has completed six (6) months of continuous employment may receive an advance of credits equivalent to the anticipated credits for the vacation year.

  • Reinstatement of Vacation Days - Sick Leave In the event an employee is sick or injured prior to the commencement of his/her vacation, such employee shall be granted sick leave and the vacation period so displaced shall be added to the vacation period if requested by the employee and by mutual agreement, or shall be reinstated for use at a later date.
