Overtime is defined as. (a) In the case of Regular Full Time Employees and Regular Part Time Employees, as the number of hours worked in excess of thirty-six (36) hours during a calendar week; (b) In the case of Casual Relief and Casual Employees, as the number of hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours during a calendar week. (a) A Regular Full Time Employee and Regular Part Time Employee shall be granted compensating leave (“lieu time”) in consideration of overtime performed by him. However, if there is mutual agreement between the Employer and the Employee a Regular Full Time Employee or Regular Part Time may receive compensation at the overtime pay rate instead of lieu time. The decision regarding compensation shall be agreed to prior to the overtime being worked.

Overtime is defined as. 9.1 Time worked in excess of 40 hours per week and/or hours worked that exceed a standard 8 hour, 9 hour or 10 hour daily shift. 9.2 Overtime shall be paid at the rate of time and a quarter (T1.25).   • Overtime Defined All time worked before or after the regular work day, the regular work week or on a holiday, as specified herein, shall be considered overtime.

Where an employee is required to work additional overtime contiguous to an overtime shift within a twenty-four (24) hour period, the employee will be compensated at the rate of double time his or her straight time hourly rate for all additional contiguous overtime hours worked. Overtime premium will not be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall other premiums be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall the same hours worked be counted as part of the normal work week and also as hours for which the overtime premium is paid.

  • Common Areas - Definition The term "Common Areas" is defined as all areas and facilities outside the Premises and within the exterior boundary line of the Industrial Center and interior utility raceways within the Premises that are provided and designated by the Lessor from time to time for the general non-exclusive use of Lessor, Lessee and other lessees of the Industrial Center and their respective employees, suppliers, shippers, customers, contractors and invitees, including parking areas, loading and unloading areas, trash areas, roadways, sidewalks, walkways, parkways, driveways and landscaped areas.

  • Shift Differentials 18.1 Employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 1400 and 2159 hours shall receive a shift differential of seventy-five cents (75¢) per hour, and employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 2200 and 0559 hours shall receive a shift differential of eighty cents (80¢) per hour. Effective January 1, 2005, for employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 2200 and 0559 hours shall receive a shift differential of one dollar ($1) per hour. Overtime shall not be calculated on the shift differential nor shall the shift differential be paid for paid absence from duty such as vacations, general holidays, etc.

  • Definition of Overtime Overtime means those hours worked in excess of normal hours of work as per Article 8.1 (Normal Work Week).
