Common use of Overtime/TOIL Clause in Contracts

Overtime/TOIL. 6.1 Over time rates will apply to all time worked in excess of 8 (7.6 hrs. Clerical/Admin Staff) hours per day or outside the ordinary hours span. Overtime is payable to full time, part time and casual employees at the rate of time and a half for the first two hours and double time thereafter, provided that in the calculation of overtime each day’s work shall stand alone.
