Overtime work on a Saturday or a Sunday. (a) Except as otherwise provided, double time will be paid for all overtime work done on a Saturday or on a Sunday. (b) A weekly employee who has been notified that the employee will be required to work overtime on a Saturday (not being work which is continuous with work which commenced on a Friday) or on a Sunday and so report for work and is ready willing and able to perform such work will be provided on a Saturday with at least two hours work or at least two hours pay at double time or on a Sunday with at least four hours work or at least four hours pay at double time. (c) Except as otherwise provided in 18 Hours of work or 19 Special provisions for shift work employees, the provisions of this sub clause will apply to a shift work employee provided that a shift work employee required to work overtime on a Saturday immediately after the finishing time of their ordinary working hours which commenced on a Friday will be paid in accordance with 21.2.

Overtime work on a Saturday or a Sunday. 12.1.1 On Saturdays, time and a half of base rate will be paid for the first 3 hours worked. Double time of base rate will be paid thereafter. Double time of base rate will also be paid for all work done on a Sunday. 12.1.2 Where the Employee has been notified that s/he will be required to work overtime on a Saturday (not being work which is continuous with work which commenced on a Friday) and so reports for work and is able to perform such work shall be provided with at least two hours work or at least two hours pay at applicable rates. 12.1.3 Where the Employee has been notified that s/he will be required to work overtime on a Sunday and so reports for work and able to perform such work shall be provided with at least four hours work or at least four hours pay at applicable rates. 12.1.4 A shift worker on a shift required to work overtime on a Saturday and shifts preceding Public Holiday immediately after the finishing time of their ordinary working hours which commenced on a Friday shall be paid overtime in accordance with the overtime rate applicable between Monday and Friday.

  • Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday ‌ For an employee whose workweek is from Monday to Friday, and when any of the above-noted holidays falls on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the following Monday shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement; when a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies to the Monday), shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.

  • Saturday Work A day worker required to work overtime on a Saturday shall be afforded at least four hours work or paid for four hours at the rate of time and one half for the first three hours and double time thereafter, except where the overtime is continuous with overtime commenced on the previous day.

  • Saturday and Sunday Work (a) Where an employee is rostered to work ordinary hours between midnight Friday and midnight Saturday, the employee will be paid a loading of 50% of their ordinary rate of pay for the hours worked during this period. (b) Where an employee is rostered to work ordinary hours between midnight Saturday and midnight Sunday, all employees excluding home care employees will be paid a loading of 75% of their ordinary rate of pay for the hours worked during this period. (c) Casual employees will be paid in accordance with Clauses 35(a) and 35(b). The rates prescribed in Clauses 35(a) and 35(b) will be in substitution for and not cumulative upon the casual loading prescribed in Clause 12.5(b). (d) These extra rates will be in substitution for and not cumulative upon the shift penalties prescribed at Clause 38 Shiftwork.

  • Saturday and Sunday Work Week: Five (5) consecutive days per week, Sunday to Saturday. Work Day: Seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours per day. Any shift starting after 12:01 p.m. will receive a shift premium in accordance with Article 13.01 ii).

  • Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall be a Saturday or a Sunday or shall be a legal holiday in the State of New York, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding day not a legal holiday.

  • Payments Due on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays If the date of maturity of interest on or principal of the Securities of any series or the date fixed for redemption or repayment of any such Security shall not be a Business Day, then payment of interest or principal need not be made on such date, but may be made on the next succeeding Business Day with the same force and effect as if made on the date of maturity or the date fixed for redemption, and no interest shall accrue for the period after such date.
