PACKING INSTRUCTIONS. 11.1. The Goods shall be properly prepared, labelled, packed, and tagged in accordance with instructions contained in the order, secured and protected by the Seller to ensure that they reach the destination specified in the Purchase Order in good condition and that Goods can be properly handled and identified. 11.2. All dangerous or hazardous Goods shall be packed separately from those of a non-hazardous nature and in accordance with clause 12 below. 11.3. Where this Contract involves multiple shipments and/or different destination, the Seller shall not make any shipment until released in accordance with separate purchase orders or releases issued by the Purchaser using location. 11.4. Where returnable containers are used in the shipment, the containers shall be returned to the Seller at the Seller’s expense.

PACKING INSTRUCTIONS. 28.1 Packing shall be strong and sturdy such that it can withstand loading/unloading & pushing by mechanical devices. All packaging shall be done in such a manner as to reduce volume and weight as much as possible without jeopardizing the safety of the material. All packing materials shall be new. 28.2 Fragile articles should have special packing materials depending on type of materials. 28.3 All soft and delicate surfaces on equipment/material should be carefully protected / painted with suitable coating and wrapped to prevent rusting and damage. All mechanical and electrical equipment and other heavy articles should be securely fastened to the bottom of the case, to avoid damage. 28.4 Attachments and spare parts of equipment and all small pieces shall be packed separately in wooden cases with adequate protection inside the case and sent along with main equipment. Each item shall be tagged so as to identify it with the main equipment and part number and reference number shall be indicated. 28.5 All protrusions shall be suitably protected and openings shall be blocked by wooden/steel covers as may be required. 28.6 Detailed case wise packing list in water proof envelope shall be inserted in each package together with equipment/material. One copy of ‘Detailed Packing List’ shall be fastened outside of the package in waterproof envelope and covered by metal cover. 28.7 Each package shall be marked on three sides with proper paints/indelible waterproof ink as follows: PURCHASER: DESTINATION: Purchase Order No…...................................................................... Net Wt. Kgs, Xxxxx Xx. Kgs.

Each shipment shall be accompanied by a packing slip which will include BUYER’s part numbers, Purchase Order or Build Plan number, the quantity shipped and country of origin. Shipping marks and labels shall not contain any identifying references such as Product names and model numbers, to minimize the risk of theft and shrinkage.

PACKING INSTRUCTIONS. (a) The Buyer warrants that it will give the Seller written Packing Instructions (including last permissible day for delivery to terminal gate (“Delivery Date”)) at least 14 calendar days prior to the Delivery Date. (b) For the avoidance of doubt, the Delivery Date must fall within the Delivery Period. (c) Unless otherwise agreed, Packing Instructions must specify: Terminal Gate; container yard and empty container release number; Customs and Quarantine clearance details inc RFP and EDN; bag weights and printing details; Import Permit; vessel name, voyage no, and ETD; port(s) of destination. (d) Unless otherwise agreed, the Buyer warrants that the required number of shipping containers will be made available at least 14 calendar days prior to the Delivery Date at a collection region nominated by the Seller. The Buyer warrants that the containers will comply with the Commonwealth Department of Agriculture Plant Export Operations Manual (Vol 11). (e) The Buyer may vary the Delivery Date at any time prior to the Delivery Date provided that the new date falls within the Delivery Period and all other provisions of this Contract are met. All reasonably unavoidable costs or expenses incurred by the Seller as a result of the variation of the Delivery Date are for the account of the Buyer.

PACKING INSTRUCTIONS. 4.2.1 The Contractor warrants that the cost of packing is included in the cost offered for the items. 4.2.2 The Contractor shall ensure that:  The packing is of a sturdy export quality, and of a commercial standard that will provide adequate protection of the goods for carriage by air, sea and/or road to final destinations worldwide, including remote locations under adverse climatic and storage conditions, and high humidity - i.e. not less than 17kN edge crush resistance with minimum 60% remaining with 90% humidity at a temperature of 40C (tropical conditions);  The packaging unit is strong, able to be stacked to a height of 4 pallets as static storage and 2 pallets during transport, and resistant to puncturing;  All wood packaging, including pallets and boxes, utilised in any shipment, have undergone the treatment, marking and documentation required to meet the specifications described in ISPM No. 15: Guidelines for Regulating Wood Packaging Material in International Trade, available at xxx.xxxx.xxx  Pallets manufactured from other materials than solid wood are NOT acceptable (such as wood chip, plastic, MDF board, ply wood or carton). 4.2.3 In addition to any other applicable requirements, the following shipping marks must be provided for each shipping unit (e.g., collie/carton/box/pallet) at minimum:  UNDP Purchase Order Number (optional for inner boxes)  Description of contents  Quantity per carton  Carton numbering e.g. carton 1/40  Gross Weight  Cubic Measurement  Batch Number Reference  Manufacturing DateExpiry Date  Clear marking/instructions with regard to special handling or storage conditions  Clear marking if USB data loggers are included in the place (as an example “USB data logger is included in the box”) 4.2.4 All markings must be reflected in the Packing List to be completed at the time of shipment. The Packing List shall indicate the manufacturing batch number and cross- reference to the carton numbers, pallets and containers. One copy of the Packing List must be included with the shipment and another copy shall accompany the shipping documents. 4.2.5 No carton may contain items from more than one manufacturing batch. Cartons containing non-uniform contents must be specially marked with red at the top corners.
