PAID PENITENTIARY LEAVE. Employees will be granted up to one month Penitentiary Leave with full pay, where such Employee is incarcerated as a result of their reasonable actions undertaken with the purpose of implementing the directions of the Employer. Where such incarceration extends beyond one month the Employee will be granted Unpaid Penitentiary Leave as defined in Article 23.19. The Employer will pay all fines levied on Employees by criminal courts as a result of such actions by the Employee. It is agreed the Employees have the right to refuse to undertake any action which the Employee reasonably expects could result in a fine or incarceration.

  • Payment of Paid Personal/Carer’s Leave (a) If an employee takes a period of paid personal/xxxxx’s leave and meets the notice requirements set out at Clause 44.3 the employer must pay the employee at the employee’s base rate of pay for the employee’s ordinary hours of work in the period.

  • Military Caregiver Leave The employer shall grant an employee who is a family member of a covered service member an unpaid leave of up to twenty-six (26) weeks (inclusive of the twelve (12) weeks granted under 1. above) in a single twelve (12) month period to care for the covered service member who has a serious illness or injury incurred in the line of duty on active duty.
