Freedom from Discrimination. 3.02 The Employer and the Union agree that there shall be no discrimination, interference, restriction, or coercion exercised or practised with respect to any employee by reason of age, sex, race, creed, colour, nationality, religion, ancestry, ethnic origin, place of origin, marital status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, family status, family affiliation, political belief, political association, social condition, disability, a conviction that is subject to a pardon or record suspension, nor by reason of union membership or activity. Freedom from Discrimination. Every faculty member has the right to equal treatment by the College with respect to all aspects of the exercise of its managerial authority. Equal treatment shall be without discrimination, interference, restriction or coercion exercised or practised because of race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnicity, citizenship, creed, religion, political affiliation or activity, sex, age, marital status, family status, place of residence, disability, medical history, sexual preference, personal lifestyle, or membership or activity in the Association.

The law shall prohibit any discrimination and guarantee to all persons equal and effective protection against discrimination on any ground such as race, colour, sex, language, religion, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status;
Freedom from Discrimination. The Board, the Association, and their agents and members agree that neither shall unlawfully discriminate against any employee of the District because of race, religion, color, national origin, age, sex, sexual orientation, height, weight, marital status, disability, or for exercising his/her rights pursuant to of the Michigan Public Employment Relations Act, MCL 423.211 et seq., as amended.

Freedom from Discrimination. The Employer and Union cannot and will not condone discrimination or personal harassment that is based on sex, race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, age, record of offences, marital status, sexual orientation, family status or handicap, or for any other grounds declared unlawful by Ontario Human Rights legislation.

(a) The Company and the Union agree that the workplace should be free from discrimination, restriction or coercion exercised or practised with respect to any employee by reason of race, ancestry, place of origin, colour, ethnic origin, citizenship, creed, gender, sexual orientation, age, record of offences, marital status, handicap or by reason of membership or activity in the Union.
