Common use of Paid Vacation Periods Clause in Contracts

Paid Vacation Periods. For hourly-rated and nonexempt salaried employees first eligible for GE benefits prior to June 18, 2007, vacation will be provided in an Annual Allotment subject to the eligibility requirements set forth in paragraph (a) below. For hourly-rated and nonexempt salaried employees first eligible for GE benefits on or after June 18, 2007, vacation will be earned on a pro rata basis with a fractional portion of the annual vacation period being earned each month subject to the eligibility requirements set forth in paragraph (b) below. Vacations with pay will be granted in each calendar year (hereinafter called the “vacation year”) to eligible hourly rated and nonexempt salaried employees as follows:
