Paratransit Service. Transportation services for seniors and people with disabilities including ADA-mandated or non-mandated shuttle or fixed-route services, including door- to-door services, group trips, and individual demand-response trip services; taxi programs; Alameda CTC Paratransit Program Implementation Guidelines Meals on Wheels or meal delivery; volunteer driver programs; and purchase of EBP tickets.

Paratransit Service. The County’s and MTA’s paratransit service (known as Hele-On Kako‘o Paratransit) has failed to provide service that is “comparable to the level of designated public transportation services provided to individuals without disabilities using such system.” 42 U.S.C. § 12143(a); 49 C.F.R. § 37.121(a). In their operation of Hele-On Kako‘o Paratransit, the County and MTA have failed to:
Paratransit Service. Residents of Treasure Island requiring paratransit services mandated by the Americans with Disabilities Act will be considered to be within the jurisdiction of SFMTA and will receive paratransit services from SFMTA. Eligible passengers coming to Treasure Island from East Bay destinations within the AC Transit service area boundaries for ADA services will receive ADA Paratransit services to the extent required by law from the East Bay Paratransit Consortium acting as the agent of AC Transit. In its capacity as the East Bay Paratransit Consortium lead, AC Transit will be fully compensated by TIMMA for all invoiced East Bay Paratransit trips to and from the East Bay, at a rate to be determined in the Operating Agreement.
Paratransit Service. One paratransit vehicle is in service during normal operating hours. Paratransit services are provided within three quarters of a mile of the fixed route service. Stops and Other Infrastructure: The County maintains existing bus stops, shelters, signs posts, benches, and related infrastructure, as well as plans for the placement of new stops and other infrastructure. Currently there are 117 total bus stops in the system, with 78 stops in the City of Hendersonville. The County may add, move, or reduce stops and other infrastructure during the term of this Agreement as it deems necessary.

  • Transit Service is the delivery of certain traffic between Carrier and a third party ILEC, CLEC or CMRS provider by Frontier over a separate trunk group between Carrier and Frontier where appropriate trunks exist between Carrier and third party through Frontier’s tandem. The following traffic types will be delivered: (I) Local Traffic originated from Carrier to such third-party and (ii) Local Traffic originated from such third-party to Frontier’s tandem and terminated to Carrier.

  • Service Area (a) SORACOM shall provide the SORACOM Air Global Service within the area designated on the web site of SORACOM (the “Service Area”), provided, that, the Service Area may be different if stated otherwise as specified by SORACOM separately. However, within the Service Area, you may not use the SORACOM Air Global Service in places where transmissions are difficult to send or receive.
