Common use of Part-Time Employee Clause in Contracts

Part-Time Employee. Part-time employee" means an employee who is normally scheduled to work fewer than 80 hours in a biweekly payroll period.

PartA part-time employee" means employee is an employee who who: i) has made a commitment to be regularly scheduled according to the initial assignment identified in a part-time posting; and, ii) is normally scheduled to work fewer hours per two-week pay period than 80 hours a full-time employee. Part-time employees may also make themselves available for additional shifts and shall so advise the employer in a biweekly payroll periodwriting.
