Pay Upon Disciplinary Demotion. The salary of an employee who is demoted for disciplinary reasons from one classification to another which provides for a lower maximum salary shall be set at the same increment as in the previous classification. The employee’s classification seniority date and anniversary date for future increment adjustments shall be the date the employee begins working in the new classification. Thereafter, the employee shall increase in accordance with Section 10.02 of this article.
