Work Week Defined. The work week for employees, except Residents, is five (5) eight-hour days, or a total of forty (40) hours, between 12:01 a.m. on Sunday and 12:00 midnight on Saturday. However, when operational requirements require deviations from the usual pattern of five eight-hour days, an employee may be scheduled otherwise to meet operational requirements.
Work Week Defined. For the purpose of this Memorandum of Agreement, a work week shall be defined as a 7-day period commencing at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, and ending at 12:00 midnight on Friday.

Work Week Defined. A work week of five basic days shall be established for all Engineers in yard service in the yard, 12th Seniority District. The term "work week" for regularly assigned Yard Engineers shall mean a week beginning on the first day on which the assignment is bulletined to work.

All permanent full-time employees in the unit shall be scheduled for five (5) shifts of eight (8) hours and two (2) consecutive days off within each work week, or four (4) shifts of ten (10) hours and three (3) consecutive days off within each work week. Saturday and Sunday will be considered as consecutive days off within the work week.
Work Week Defined. Work week for the purpose of computing compensation under this contract shall mean seven (7) consecutive days starting at 12:01 a.m. Monday of each week.

Work Week Defined. The employee's regular workday shall consist of eight hours and the workweek typically consists of a seven consecutive day period, Monday through Sunday. Other schedules may be assigned consistent with Section 7.8 of this Agreement. The City reserves the right to assign new employees to other works weeks and will provide two consecutive days off. Where new work weeks are planned by the City, they shall be subject to discussion with and review by the Union. Any change in special workweeks, not otherwise provided for under this agreement, now in effect, shall be reviewed by the City and the Union. The City shall inform employees thirty (30) calendar days in advance of any permanent working hour change (s), which are to be made. It is understood that in cases of natural disasters or emergencies that this would not be necessary on a temporary basis. Emergency is defined as an unpredictable or unavoidable occurrence at unscheduled intervals requiring immediate action. An unpredictable occurrence is unplanned and unanticipated. An unavoidable occurrence permits one to have advance knowledge of the likelihood of the event.
Work Week Defined. The normal week for custodians and maintenance employees shall be forty (40) hours. The normal work week for bus drivers, cooks, aides, maintenance and custodians shall be Monday through Friday. However, the normal work week for in-school suspension aides may be adjusted as needed by their supervisors to accommodate student needs.
